I wasn't sure where to put it as it's out on every platform; hence the links to the iOS and Android version plus the Eurogamer review of the Mac version. I'll cross-post it to the other threads if people think it's worth it though.

As I am leaving, I've added in loads of helpful suggestions to make things more efficient such as "Why not use a cron job to pull these reports from the database, that should save at least half a day a week?"

Make sure to point out how the cloud could be helping them as well.

One of the editors at Eurogamer has just tweeted that she'd never heard of Net Yaroze.

I remember it vividly but am I in the minority here?

Yeah, strange that? I think that might be the time that I fell out with gaming when I worked at GAME. That put me off for a lot of the PS2 period.

*edit* Also, thanks for reading my website! More people should. It's great.. http://52games.tumblr.com/

I remember the name and playground chat about it at the time so I knew what it was, but I've never seen one in real life.

I remember it - and it was an 'audience' question in the latest Beyond podcast from IGN (the person they asked didnt know but someone from the audience did and won a PS4)

:this: seems like it could cause a little mayhem? Perhaps if they receive something that strong from this email address then they'll investigate where all the emails are going.

Question (15) is surely rhetorical.
The intended email recipient is a bloke.

There is one real lesson I have learnt in all of this, and that is most people are rude and ignorant.
I've replied multiple times to various people who send me emails for this guy telling them they have been given the wrong email address and asking them to tell the guy he is giving out the wrong email address, I've only had one single reply back, and that was just a "sorry".

Also, as this is a personal email coming from someone who presumably knows your doppelganger, if you respond back to it telling them what and how long this has been going on for presumably the message will actually get back to him and he'll finally stop doing this.

Fake edit: Ah, no, I see from your latest post you've already tried that approach and he/his mates are still too stupid. Ah well, might as well ruin the wedding then.

Exactly. What you want is just to hit the right note that they believe you, but that your answers differ suitably from Laura's (which is likely, obv) and are just a teeny bit disturbing.

Heh. I should say that. Rather than the "The position I am taking offers greater opportunities to learn new skills, will challenge me, and has broader scope for advancement that the roles that my job has been mapped to, here, as part of the restructure. Should that change in the next week, and an offer be forthcoming, I'd always be happy to listen to it". Which is as diplomatic as I can be at present.

Not a low budget remake of The Birds, but something more sinister. I always knew they were evil.
