Kindo of a yay, well a big yay for this month.

Had George for father's day. Went to the seaside, have fish and chips, a boat trip round the harbour and a trip on a miniature railway.

A busy, tiring but fun day.

Thanks for the job-related well wishes, folks. I think I am technically a... a... transponster, yes.

Thanks to it being an internal move, the management have agreed that I can start next Monday!

Also: I am going to ask for more money.

So I passed my 6 month probation at work (YAY!) and, somehow, managed to convince them that my laptop is really heavy (which it really is) and so lugging it home and back all the time is killing my back, and that it would be much easier to have all my design software installed on my home computer. Which they bought for me the next day. And I have just installed.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet :D

Hude yay for Mr Dom and Griff!

Yay for today - 10 year wedding anniversary. Seems like a lot shorter than that. Still, I am a supremely lucky dude.

It was just one night, Chris.

We didn't even share a bed.

Who climbed in and starting stroking me at 2am then? Did you give Gaywood a keycard to your room?

In addition to the new job (before which I only had to work a one week notice period), I've now got the temporary pay rise I asked for. Til end of Sep, and then to be reviewed.

So, taking that into account with the two new jobs I got, my pay compared to 1 Jan is 41% up! It wasn't amazing to start with, but I like that increase. ^_^

I never know which anniversary to go for with Pauline.

We started going out almost 18 years ago, we bought a house almost 16 years ago and moved in together 15 years ago (it took us about 6 months to get it liveable in), but we've only been married 11 months.

That card is wonderful, Mr Chris. What a kind and thoughtful gesture. I don't think anyone was being sarcastic, it's far far more personal than a £4 Clinton Cards offering.
