New job get! 20% payrise plus annual £5K bonus; shit yeah bitches. I will have a bloody dress code in my workplace for the first time in about fifteen years which will be a bit of a wrench but I'm sure I'll manage. It's working in a team with one of my mates I used to work with in my current place which will be cool. His boss is building a new team more or less from scratch in Glasgow after the company finally realised that out-sourcing everything to India is a shit idea that fucks up the quality of your deliveries so it's a chance to get in on the ground floor and help shape how we deliver (hopefully!). They don't want me to start until the end of July so I can spend two months giving less and less of a shit while doing no work at all seeing some of my current deliveries through to live properly before I leave.
