I'm in London for a course all that week, so hit me up for beers, if you so wish. I shall be staying somewhere around Tabernacle Street (EC2A, I believe).

Save me from the torture of my own company (and from buying overpriced adult films).

I could be around that week, pending I actually get paid by any of the fucking clients I've been working for for the last two months, otherwise you'll be buying the beers.

I could meet up at least once. After that London drink prices get a bit too pricey.

How about we make this Tuesday, somewhere in the vicinity of The City?

I can make that day far better than the others, and tehre are plenty of bars that work on a '50% off all drinks' basis until 8pm, which will cut down on the wallet damage.

What say you, Mighty Beexers?

I get beaten with lengths of bamboo on Tuesdays ( kendo class ) so I can come, but will be somewhat knackered and blistered. The City in That London would be fairly close for me though.

If you'd've said that earlier she wouldn't be pregnant again.

Ones with Alcohol. Preferably that are not called Sam Smiths.

If this is Tuesday I almost certainly can't make it, but will try and catch you later in the week.

Right then.

Tomorrow.

Meet at Abacus from 5.30pm. It's a 'trendy' bar in the City, which counts against it, but it has all drinks on half price until 8pm, which counts as a massive plus.

Google it if you need to find it.

Once we've had our fill of cheap drinks, I propose we go get some food at either a curry house in Brick Lane, or at GBK in Spitalfields (because I seem to recall have 2-for-1 vouchers for it).

Job done.

If they're the Wimbledon ones, I think they ran out.

Who the Hell goes out for drinks on Pizza Tuesday? :(

How swish is this Abacus? I'm likely to be lugging bags around and be wearing trainers. I don't want to turn up, only to be forced to stand outside in the cold, staring through the window at you lot chugging back the bolly.

Most of the people who go out in Abacus are SE London or Essex city workers.

It ain't classy.

You'll be fine. If they had a door policy, myp would hardly get in there anyway.

Very good point.

Hopefully, should be there around 7.30. Sadly, won't be able to stay for that long ( probably only for a couple of pints ), but long enough for some jolly larks.

When does everyone plan on moving on from Abacus? Hopefully, I'll be able to get there before everyone leaves and I'm left bereft and forlorn.

[Edit] - Cheers Curio!

The plan is some time after 8, once the cheap drinks are no longer in effect, and there's no reason to be there.

I would dearly love to meet the part of Mr Dave that, when he stumbles drunkly off the train at Caterham and thinks "you know what would be a good idea? Running all the way up this hill and home"

And kick him repeatedly in the face until he never mentions a word again.

Apart from our ignominious defeat at the hands of the quiz machine.

Aye.

Well, Church Hill, but yeah, same hill. By the time I realised it was a bad idea, I was pretty much dead home.

Stupidly, this isn't the first time I've done said thing either.

Woah, why the hell have you got a Stafford Road when it's neither near Stafford or leads to it? Get on to the town planning office, Dave.

Dave, I need to know what's in the East Surrey Museum. Go and find out. Also go in to 1001 rugs and count them to make sure it's not false advertising.

The East Surrey Museum is awesome, and I'll not have a bad word said about it. Fragments of Iron age pots! A bit of a German plane from the Battle of Britain! Something about a guy called Soper whom the town hall is named after!

[EDIT] Also, my moussaka was lovely, thanks.

My favourite moment was when Squirt said, "I can't stay out for dinner as my wife has made a lovely moussaka". I suggested we all went back for moussaka, to which he replied in earnest, "there's only enough for the two of us."

I looked him straight in the eye and said "well, these three losers don't have to come with us, do they?"

Bizarrely, I don't even think it was me who came up with the moussaka. One of you guys managed ( utterly inaccurately, by the way ) to decide that my wife was cooking me some moussaka for my tea.

Anyway, I like saying that word. Moussaka moussaka moussaka.
