Formatting a 1TB USB 2 external hard drive to NTFS, for one. Set it running about 6:30 last night and I think it finished somewhere around 3 this morning.

Copying ~450GB of data on to the new drive, for two. I set that running at 7 this morning and it's just about finished now. Thank the lord for Robocopy, because that could have been a really tedious business with file manager or xcopy.

Running a bath.

The time it takes to run a bath rises in relation to how achy and tired and in need of a nice hot deep bubbly bath you are.

The water pressure here is actually very high, but baths will never fill quick enough for me. What I need is someone to pre-empt the needing of a bath and start the water running five minutes before I decide it will be a good idea.

I have, in my airing cupboard, a roughly bath sized hot water tank, full of lovely bath temp water. However, the pipes from said tank to my bath are puny little 22mm fellows, severely limiting the rate of flow. I suggest replacing these with some giant 120mm pipes, direct from water tank to bath. Id be able to pour myself a deep. hot bath in about 6 seconds.

I fully expect you to be living in a duct filled nightmare like in Brazil.
