Eurogamer's doing a series of their games of the decade.

But what's YOURS?

Is it the game you had best bezzie funtimes on?

Is it the most memorable experience?

Is it the MOST ADDICTING?

For me, it's probably:

XCOM - bought on a zillion formats and has kept me sane on my hundreds of hours of commutes
OR
Bayonetta - exhilarating from beginning to end.

But that list makes me realise I've really not done that much fulsome gaming in the last ten years. The odd finished game here and there, but nothing much I've sunk my teeth into.

Based purely on the time I've sunk into them, The Binding of Isaac (and its remake/DLC) would have to be in there for me and Rocket League. I don't feel I've played as varied a set of games as I would have previously - I'll dip into stuff and then immediately forget them and go back to playing my usual ones. I'm into quick-fix replayable games, so those two spring readily to mind.

I think the Mass Effect Series and Skyrim, would be on my list. As they are the only ones I have finished.

Xcom I keep going back to, i should see if there is a version on the ipad.

I think it might have to be Factorio.

Factorio or Doom.

Bayonetta was last decade, surely. October 2009.

As frustrating as Dark Souls was, it says a lot that I'm tempted to buy the remaster in the Black Friday sale and play through it all over again. I should probably include this in my games of the decade too.

Mine's probably NieR: Automata. Had as much of an emotional impact as Neon Genesis Evangelion for me, that did.

Thumper would be up there too, for different reasons. And iRacing.

edit: Ooo! Bloodborne.

Limbo’s a bit redundant when you’ve got an INSIDE in your list.

And The Last Guardian was a monumental narrative experience and goddamn it was beautiful despite the technical shortcomings.

I have a terrible memory so I can't remember what game came out when but, off the top of my head. Here are some games I've enjoyed the most in the past ten years.

Super Mario Odyssey
Zelda BOTW
Sea of Thieves
GTAV
Kid Icarus Uprising

I'm sure I'll think of more....

Rocket League.. reallydefinedthis generation for me.. multiplayer clicking.. a future sport working for me.. true skill to admire..

Mario Odyssey.. really completely captured me for a month exploring everything, taking with me whereven i went

Fortnite... for the effect it had on my kids..

really struggling to find a game for 2010-2014 on the xbox 360 that really grabbed me (the high point of Xbla being 2008-2009)..
