Hello. As suggest by the tell-tale orange icon up there, I've made a simple RSS feed that tracks new topics in the main forum.

Here it is: http://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com/feed/main.php

It orders by the date last posted in (descending). There is no feed for individual topics - is this something people would want?

Good work, sir. I think it would be good to have feeds-per-thread as you suggest. Otherwise it might end up a bit like Post Soup.

But - would you (personally) ever subscribe to an individual thread? I know I wouldn't.

I wouldn't personally subscribe to any, but that's just because I prefer to browse the forum itself.

I can imagine that individual thread feeds would be useful for those seeking a better signal-to-noise ratio, for example.

It displays the topics in the order they were last posted in.
Essentially, it's an RSS of the first page.

Is it updating correctly? I don't seem to have Spinglo Sponglo! "My own personal Xbox 360 thread" thread coming though on Google Reader and it was created after this RSS thread. Or is it something funny that Google reader does?

(Unless you're backwards and use IE7, whereupon it's on the tab bar, and I don't remmeber having any RSS stuff on IE6)
