I have taken MiniKov to the rugby club for years, it is fun watching hairy arsed rugby lads, trying not to swear. Minikov knows most of the swear words, giggles when they are said, but does not repeat them

My 3 year old was on the toilet at nursery a couple of weeks ago, he is fine doing this on his own, but they came back to check on him a couple of minutes later.

They asked him if he was ok and he said "There is a big hole in the toilet fucking hell!"

I'm not happy he is saying this, but he only ever says it in sentences like this and infrequently, which is better that the kids that just repeat a word over and over again.

Perhaps now's a good time to teach him that there are certain words you don't say at nursery. ;)

Are you 12?

No, but my kids are only 8 and 5 for fucks sake so I was pissed off at the fact they might have been taken to a film that had a foul mouthed cunt as a lead character.

It's a 12A, though.

Not so sure I should teach him any more words, he got this one from me no doubt, although he said it in an Irish accent much to the horror of my wife who is from Dublin. When I told her about this I braced myself for a telling off over cursing and kept the bit about the Irish accent until she had finished :)

They pick up all sorts, at the weekend I was telling him there were no magazine's or toys getting bought at the supermarket and he said " if you say that again I'll skin you alive" so I asked where he head learnt that and it was from a kids book we got from the library called the Bakers Cat!

I didn't mean teach him new swear words :P I just mean that if he says it again you need to reiterate that there's a time and a place for certain words and e.g. at nursery isn't one of them (in front of grandparents is another one) He's not too young to understand that.

The BBC rated it 12A, though. http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/ghostbusters-2016

And in fact, the extended edition isn't a 12A -- it's a hard 12, as shown on the box art on

This is undoubtedly true on many levels. The violence you get away with in 15s now is more like the 18s of my youth. It's terrible. TERRIBLE.

F bomb is a specific thing I reckon. When someone drops and unexpected FUCK into an otherwise swear-free film, I'd call that an f-bomb. Someone saying fuck in, say, Reservoir Dogs... not so bomb-like.

Cheers fella - does that work for not yet released films, though? I'm in two minds about whether youngest would be ok with Rogue One, for instance, as it looks a little more gritty and realistic (in terms of the violence) than Force Awakens.

I think that's why I find it annoying. Because the only time I ever see it being used (usually) is when I'm being told off for swearing on facebook or twitter by prudish Americans.

The problem being that it could go off at any time without warning.

Depends if they've previously tried to help you with one of your grenades. If they have, I expect they'd be very thin on the ground.

Just watched Money Monster. Enjoyable film, but Jack O'Connell's New York accent was rather all over the place. Not sure why they didn't just cast an American in the role rather than a bloke from Derby.

Is it? I think being able to convincingly act and speak English at the same time should be a requirement for an English speaking acting role.

Edit: Less of a big deal in a supporting role, or someone without much dialogue, but she's the star here.

Obviously there was a long list of bigger problems with BvS, but her performance wasn't great there either.
