Davpaz... You'd better be coming for the whole weekend this time. I need someone to play Heroquest with!

Who's was it?

I believe it may have belonged to Malc but I could be wrong. Anyway, I have it somewhere so I've got a whole year to dig it out... and Space Crusade while I think about it.

Nah, not mine.

HeroQuest belonged to Joans.

The translated lyrics round in the quiz was certainly interesting. I had a look at the real English lyrics to La Bamba and they're quite eye-opening:

Quote:
La la la la la Bamba
He was meant to come to the cottage
But Curio fucked up the dates the total wee hole
Now he has to come this weekend instead
And put up with Myp on his own
My captain
My captain
My captain

Thank you all for a wonderful time, the drinking game was wonderful in my ass. I liked the changes to the quiz, the translation round was bizarre! :D

Good food from the Yes chef!'s and Rach's bacon butties.

Loved playing Snake Oil, Space Monkey's and Mysterium.

Office Four would like to say thank you for the snacks. They couldn't eat Mali's face, so I had to cut him up...

You should give it a go Pundy.. It's very relaxed and very welcoming and you don't have to stay all weekend if you don't want to.

Seconded.

I, and I doubt I'm the only one, also suffer very strongly from an inability to put myself into situations where I meet new people, and even if I've met someone 20 times I can still get very bad anxiety seeing them again, but it is very relaxed and non-judgemental, and all but (I think) one year we've had both cottages, and the smaller cottage is a wonderful place to escape to when you need a bit less noise and a bit more space if you need it.

I remember entering the living room of the main cottage when I arrived for Cottage I. I had never met anyone on the forum before but the loud cheer of 'KERN!' was all I needed to know I was welcome.
