£5499.

The Merc is the gift that just keeps on giving.

(Generally speaking I wouldn't have any receipts in my wallet at all so no idea why I've left these two in there.)

If you still have the receipt for that car, you should return for sore credit.

I've still got a debit card receipt for my previous car somewhere, which would win if I could find it, or if it were in my wallet.

If train tickets counted (and my bag counted) I would win, but make myself cry in the process.

I have a single receipt and it's for 80p and doesn't even say what I bought.

Maybe the receipt itself cost 80p.

£91. £50 for an Oculus Touch pre-order at GAME, and £39 for a pre-owned Nokia dumbphone, also from GAME.

And £1 for a calculator.

I am working on a Primavera solution, that we outbid them on... being less than helpful. Then changed the sizings of what RAM, CPU and storage, are needed, and had to redesign a solution. Still unable to provide IOPS to me, so I can work out the storage and networks correctly.

I presume Oracle used to have the contract or something? Otherwise I can see why they won't help, even then, unless Oracle still had the contract at the moment, then I can see why they wouldn't want to help a rival...

Never understood that train of thought. If one of our clients at work decides to go elsewhere, even if it's to one of our close rivals, I do all I can to assist with the transition - the last thing I'd want is for the new guys to complain to the client that we were being an obstruction or unhelpful in any way, it's best not to burn those bridges I think.

Of course, do all that you need to facilitate the hand over, but I can see why a large organisation wouldn't want to help over what they are contracted to do. (unless they are hoping to regain the contract in the future).

If your rule is £50+ then it only takes effect at £50.01

I read it as £50 + something, and the smallest meaningful something is a penny.

Still, your interpretation is more awkward for Gazchap so we'll go with that.

Less bouyant than men due to a smaller upper body cavity but more resiliant to immersion in cold water as they have an extra layer of subdermal fat.

Hearthly wins, although I am dubious about them being in his wallet. :-)

Notwithstanding the fact that this is arguably the most pointless thing in the world to cheat at, the facts of the case are:

1) I read the challenge during a designated break period
2) I got my wallet out of my bag, expecting to find nothing in the way of receipts in there
3) I found the two receipts from when I traded the Type-R in for the Merc at the dealer back in February
4) I took the picture of the receipts on my desk at work and posted it in this thread
5) Win!

Anyway it's not like there's some sort of mega-prize on offer, in fact I now have to expend valuable brainpower on thinking up something for next week's challenge, and that's brainpower that could be spent on Hearthstone, or fantasising about chubby girls with pretty faces, or something.

Why don't you have next weeks challenge as "The first to fix your parktronic is the winner"

Now now, let's try to keep things in the realms of at least the remotely achievable.

NEW RULE (while I remember):

If the current champion hasn't posted a challenge by midday, anyone can make a challenge, just post one.

Alright, cavey, don't over react too much, it was a jest.
