Vincent: It's not offensive, but no, overall.

The Rubberband man: This stuff rocks :D I bought their album 'Fire' on CD back in about 2003 IIRC. I couldn't help myself wanting to shag that granny in the video for High Voltage, as much as I didn't want to.

Lust for life: Iggy is a legend and will always remain so. Does it get the vote however? Not sure.

Get Back In Line: Rocking to an extent, but it's just Lemmy screaming like he was six billion years ago. Not convinced. Nice guitar work though. The fucking chord progression is almost the same as Ace of Spades. Cheeky fuckers!

Friday: She's not even legal.

Overall...... I'm going for Rubberband Man.

ALSO I'm getting quite a few 'this video is not available in your country' messages, so I'm having to youtube other recordings/versions but always of the same songs. Damned IOM lol.

If I'd have known it would end up like this, I'd have stayed in Moss Side.

Vincent - tis a lovely song but always reminds me of Christian band camp. If I'd attended one. Bonus points for image of Vincent during his Nervous Pete phase at 0.44 seconds.

Lust for Life - classic but have Iggy-fatigue. His appearances on whatever insurance advert that is didn't help matters.

Motorhead - from one raddled rocker to the next, this song was a new one for me. Entertaining but not enough to take my mind of Lemmy's wart.

Chewbacca Black - would happily drown her in the bowl of cereal she purports to need at the beginning of the song.

Electric Six gets my vote in spite of (or perhaps because of) the batshit-boogie-woogie-Jools-Holland piano and fuzzy guitars at the start.

Don't let the insurance ads get you down, If you get the chance to see Iggy and the Stooges, DO, because they are excellent. Easily one of the best bands I've seen.

We missed seeing them last year I think. Missus has never forgiven me as Suicide, her apparently-favourite band, were also on the bill. Next time.

I saw Iggy live in 2001 and he was indeed fantastic. However, I haven't been able to see him in the same light since the SwiftCover bollocks. Especially as they fucked up a claim of mine terribly.

Suicide eh? That's a blast from the past, I remember seeing them boo'ed off the stage at the Acid Daze festival. Shouldn't have been that shocked given that they were sharing a bill with Spacemen 3, Doctor and the Medics, Bob Calvert, The Pink Fairies, The Enid and Hawkwind.

I know nothing of them. Keep meaning to track down some of their stuff and impress her with an absent-minded hum of one of their hits, but Spotify is bereft of them.

That sounds like a messy gig though. No idea Doctor and the Medics were cut from that kind of cloth. I just associate them with Red Nose Day now.

Speaking of Spacemen 3, Spiritualized are playing the Royal Albert Hall in October, which I can only imagine is the ideal venue to see them.

Twas a strange but splendid gig. Suicide were actually a lot of fun, pared back, minimalist electronic beeping while the lead singer seemed to be partaking of some performance art and shouting.

Hmm, it was a close-run thing between the middle three, but I'm voting for Motorhead.

Now, I didn't think I'd ever type that sentence out in my lifetime...

Don McLean
A familiar song, though not one I have consciously ever sat down to listen to. It's got a lovely melody and some great lyrics.

Electric Six
This is a fun song. Kinda crazy, up tempo, catchy chorus. Like it.

Iggy Pop
Yeah, he's an icon and it's a classic track, but to be honest it's never really been one of my favourites, and it got horrifically overplayed during my time at Uni when Trainspotting was out. So, a good track, but I can't bring myself to vote for it.

Motorhead
Fairly standard Motorhead kinda thing. I liked it more than I expected to, as they're not massively my cup of tea... but it's no 'Ace of Spades'.

Rebecca Black
Oh my poor ears. I think this might be worse than Jedward. Probably the worst lyrics ever written!

My vote goes to... ELECTRIC SIX!

Had it been Eurovision then Electric 6 - Don McLean - Motorhead.

Don McLean - I like this, it reminds me of the Prisoner Cell Block H theme tune. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Electric Six - A very good song.

Iggy Pop - A classic song. Sounds somewhat a muted mix, though?

Motorhead - Can't say this song grabbed my attention.

Rebecca Black - (In)offensive bubblegum pop, by the sounds of it. The chorus sadly reminds me of that woeful "baby, baby, baby" Bieber song.

I voted for Mr McLean.
