Gate is open again. Kicks is around and turnips are 185. Odd that I've only today got the Netting Better stamp for catching five wasps in a row - I guess it must be achieved in one play session as I keep forgetting to turn the Switch off this week. :)

Yes, I think it’s catching all available five wasps in a single day.

It’s cute, but I just want Brewster, and a Museum expansion.

I don’t really fancy Mario-fying my own island, as I think (for me) it takes the Animal Crossing-ness out of the game. I remember the Mario items in pocket camp seemed to have the same effect, but each to their own. It looks extremely effective for anyone who did want to recreate some iconic Mario scenes.

What mimi says 100%..

On new leaf i made a mario room in the museum, but i don't really like it for the rest of the game... I do like the working Tubes.. Might try to make a proper "Metrostation" on the island.. (remember I already have a little museum station..

Hello folks.

This is a long shot, but does anybody happen to have seven black cosmos flowers for a crown for Darwin? He’s got his heart set on making it after getting the recipe, but I don’t have any black cosmos in the town.

I did not log in by Sunday :S

It's Gaz's fault, he's had me playing a new game on the PC. So at least I got some down time - albeit not Animal Crossing related!

Woke up to a freshly defrosted island! Winter's over, and it's so good to see the green again.

Of course, if the climate of Wits' End is anything like the Shire, that means there'll be a sudden Siberian cold snap in a fortnight.

There’s not much green on Sheppey yet, we’re mud all about, but hopefully the grass and trees will brighten before too long.

I'm happy the snow is gone, but it does take a little used to again, to see the palm trees and bamboo be so bright :D
I also hope it will turn from beige to green soon :)

Installed the update, not much to see yet except the wallpaper gift for installing the update. There is a seasonal item in the nook shop, but the Mario stuff won't be out until march 1st
I know not everyone is excited about it but I have an infographic of the items

the trailer mentions an update on march 18, which makes me hopeful there will be more in that update then just the Sanrio items /fingers crossed
and then the Sanrio amiibos available from march 26th

Will the update not just be for Mario day and all of the rest, or has that already been part of the current update?

Kern, how is it going with your Cristal maze island plans? I have aquired some spare Marketplace decorations if they would help? https://villagerdb.com/item/market-place-decoration
but I also have a load of spare Festivale banners https://villagerdb.com/item/festivale-flag in any colour
also lots more spare Jail bar thingies and anything else I can help with

Offer is for everyone, lots of spare Festivale stuff and a few pocket camp items :)

I'm also still doing the art giveaways, I'm sorry to see Devilman has stopped playing (or at least stopped opening the island) but you might like to check once, just to see your art wing completed :D
Jem when you do log back on you can also expect some deliveries in your post :DD

Kern I have spare art, you can let me know anytime if you'd like me to check for you

Tomorrow is March 1st, I'm hoping the grass will green up soon and I'm going to order some Mario items and I'm going to enjoy going through pipes like a loon :DD

Yeah, I'd not been playing it at all as I'd felt I was just loading it up too much out of sheer habit than to actually play it. I've just loaded it up to have a tidy-up of the weeds and check for your art. And yes, that's all the art stuff done now, so thank you for contributing a lot towards that. :)

Thanks Miki! That pennant looks ideal for my Medieval zone!

I currently have 4 x 4 grids for each zone but might expand as things become available. As I can't draw for toffee, judicious use of custom designs has helped find great flooring for them. I'm especially fond of my futuristic zone (rockets and space suits) and Aztec (helped by your generous donations!)

If you fancy a look round, my dream address is DA-5325-8332-4671: I last updated it earlier in the month.

Thinking of the Crystal Maze, how the heck is this photo over 10 years old?

As for art, it's been a while since I've seen Redd so any fake statues or paintings are great to decorate the landscape and clubhouse with. I appreciate it's a bit of getting something for nothing so I should say I have ample bells in my account currently earning a worse interest rate than the Lloyds Bank cinema vouchers...

Please don't worry about any repayment and please don't be shy with asking for stuff
I've got 1440 hours in this game and I've had a load of help along the way and I have more then I will ever need
so please just let me know which real art pieces you still need for your museum (if you want to) and which paintings you'd like for decoration. Some paintings I have a few and some not so I will just see what I have. I currently don't have fakes but happy to keep an eye out for them :)

I've sent two marketplace thingies, if you prefer the coloured ones, let me know
and I'm totally going to have a good look at Wits End in the dream! I also still redo bits all the time, I used to have a tulip field on the east side, but in the last few weeks I've changed it to a Promenade with little shoppies for the summer holiday vibe :D

Yikes! Nightmare fuel!

I ordered two Mario pipes. One fits nicely in my Industrial zone, the other sits in a far-off corner. Didn't expect them to actually work!

I opened my gate up for a friend yesterday and then forgot to turn the Switch off again, so I've reopened again this morning.

Beau is at the campsite and turnips are 186.

Possibly. Both times, after I clear the comms error, it's been on the arrivals board screen with your name there. However, I've reconnected a third time and it seem to take a while, so it might be a Nintendo issue too, possibly. Feel free to try again though :)
