Mrs T wants one of these, and if it means I don't have to put the kettle on for her all the time i'm all for it. ;)
The different temperature setting buttons are nice though, regardless of the wifi lunacy.

I got the advert for this earlier (firebox general spammy email) and its just the type of thing that Mrs Z would want however her comment was what happens the first time i try to turn it on and its out of water (or too low on water to run correctly)

It doesn't turn on if it doesn't have enough water, apparently.

We had one - it was however very noisy

My fridge freezer cost about three times that and all it does is make things cooler.

Quick boil kettles solve this don't they? Our kettle takes about as long to boil as it takes to get the cups and stuff out, unless you fill it right up.

Does a quick boil kettle solve the "go and put the kettle on for me" issue?

I want half the stuff on firebox
their delivery cost outside of the uk are ridiculous
not that I would spend that sort of money for a kettle anyway
I've been looking at those taps that run boiling water

Then it'll fit right in on the table next to the bed.
