I don't even know what gay marriage means. If Gilly, who is a gay, marries some bloke who is also a gay, is that a gay marriage? I fail to see how it could be any gayer. What if I married Gilly? Is that a half gay marriage?
Being rather more serious for a moment, surely the more marriages there are featuring 100% gay people, the sooner it will become entirely normal in the eyes of more or less everyone, so everyone who can do it without too much ballache really ought to go for it, for the benefit of future generations.

I agree, it would be wonderful if we could just call it all marriage without having to specify and I can't wait for the day that's the case. Unfortunatly, it isn't really the case now. I couldn't just have announced in this thread that marriage was going to be legalised, because it's pretty commonly accepted that marriage is legal!
Same as how I can't now browse websites looking for my ideal wedding abroad, without specifying in my searches that it's a gay wedding. Which is really frustrating. Any website you visit that does weddings has a separate section for gay weddings because a load of places simply don't accommodate them. It's annoying! Not that I'm browsing weddings abroad. Or anywhere for that matter.
