Blood Red Shoes - Carling Academy - Review.

3 Pints of cheap lager.
30 Embassy Number 1.
Nearly 22 First Class stamps.
800ish XBox Live points.
Day Rider on Bus.
Film on DVD.
Paperbackbook.
7 lottery tickets.
A bit over a gallon of diesel.
50 seconds with 5 of Max Moseley's hookers.
2 weeks EvE subscription.

Buy any of the above with your 7 quid, rather than seeing the Blood Red Shoes play in a poor sounding venue and then watching the chick having a tantrum and stropping off.
So um was it any good?
Carling Academy where? I saw them supporting Siouxsie at Shepherd's Bush Empire which is also a Carling Academy it seems. I thought they were rubbish.
Oxford.

They were.

At first I thought this was going to be a review where you listed the things you spent or used during the gig. 3 pints of lager and 30 fags seemed plausible... I was thrown a little at 22 first class stamps, and could have understood the hookers, diesel and book, but the Live points finally convinced me I should actually read the last line of the review too.

Nice work. I shall avoid them.

:)
Blood Red Shoes are rubbish. I much prefer A Hawk and a Hacksaw.

Or Marduk.
When I saw them there was a slight problem with the woman not being able to sing loud enough and the drummer hitting the drums too hard.
Surely that's the sound engineers fault?

or the PA

yes, in some cases, the sound engineer is in a profession where the good worker CAN blame his tools

edit; having not heard of them before I went to see their myspace pics, and the girl is hot.
shame your review didnt read like "...then watching the chick having a tantrum and STRIPPING off"
that mightve been worth £7
