Being taller than average has its advantages in many respects as far as I am concerned, but the world has not been designed for people over about 5' 10''. Work surfaces are too low, leading to back pain; seats on public transport and at cinemas and theatres force your knees to splay out in search of the crevices in the seats in front of you; doing the ironing is a killer.
I can't imagine what it must be like for people over 6' 3''. Painful, I suppose.
I too am 6' and find the world made for small people. I like being tall, freakishly tall for a girl...and I wear heels too most of the time. Really short people worry me and people with tiny sausage fingers make me feel ill, well, not the people, just their hands *shudders*
