Halloween

Anybody got any plans for it?

We're going into town where they have a scarefest on, apparently it's 'Trick or Trunk' the store owners have vans with goodies on them or something. I'll charge my camera and take pictures. :)
I'll be hiding upstairs in the back room with the lights off in the rest of the house.

Next year I'll be in New York. :)
100 feet above ground level not getting disturbed, cheers.
Or in a pub.
Going to a fancy dress party actually. I hate dressing up though, so I'll just be packing some cheap plastic mask that I can throw away at the first opportunity.
I'm going to see james bond.
I shall be shouting at children to get orf my* laaaaand!

*Rented, and children are likely to be the landords
Nothing unfortunately now. I have a ghost walk next week and maybe we may be going somewhere this weekend, but I have no idea. Plans have gone tits up

Jas-I am not talkign to you now, you didn't take me with you :'(

What a curious arrangement.
I'm actually off out on the town tonight (possibly the first time all year) to celebrate someone's 21st birthday (sounds like he's been suitably embarrassed so far by being bought a blow-up doll, which was waiting for him on his chair when he got to work). Hopefully all the muggers trick-or-treaters will be tucked up in bed by the time I get home.

Bah humbug, er, pumpkin.

Apart from next year I'll be in barbados.

Someone pulled a cracking joke on a guy at work, having a bouquet of flowers delivered to his desk on Valentine's Day. I've never seen anyone blush so hard.

As in, 'my laaaand' is a rented flat, and the children who will be trick or treating likely to be my landlord's kids. so technically, thier land
i'll be at my second party in as many days with one more to go tomorrow night. Why won't they just let me play xbox? :(
I'll be in my 2nd floor room behind both our front door and a security door playing the Tomb Raider, Banjo and Mirror's Edge demos on my shiny 24hr old xbox*.

* Well actually it's manufactured on 24/07/08 but close enough.

When you're cleaning Windows down on your PC to make room for Linux?
*shudder*

Been there, failed to done that.
I'll be going to see Vampire Weekend in Bristol. Also, I've made myself a Manny Calevera Grim Fandango mask to wear. Can't wait!

You missed my amazing joke. :(
Yes, yes I did.

Still am.
I'll try again:

It's a ukulele you dick.
Went on a Ghost walk last night... tonight will be chillin out at home with a few beers..
Hopefully, I should be in a pub. I'm not keen on trick-or-treaters, but it's carol singers I really can't stand.

Also: I walked past long queues outside the fancy dress shop on Turl Street. Nice to see the freshers making an effort.
I wanna see Bond and play Fallout 3. Unfortunately, we're going out. I wouldn't mind going to a party, but instead we have to go out. I hate out. Stupid nightclubs.

I try my best. :'(
I was just joking about this with HC. It was fun when our daughter was a bit younger and we went out and local youngsters did the rounds. Truth be told, we haven't in the past, been subjected to older obnoxious teenagers out hustling. No idea what will be happening this evening - our daughter is out helping a friend celebrate a birthday - not sure what time she will be back, but I think we're a little bit in a demographic lull with regard to lots of kids the right age to be out doing T&T. However, it will be lights out and letting the dogs do their worst door attacking to put them off, as I haven't thought to buy any big tins of sweets for the nippers.

Basically, I'm not in. Feel free to ignore all of the above ;)
Any little fucks who think they're going to get anything more than a bucket of water over their heads would be well advised to stay away from my flat tonight.
Actually, I won't be in, but the thought's still there.
Make a sign that says "Don't knock on my door, I'm a peado."
Bonus points if you put a picture of Michael Jackson on the sign too.

Might just leave my cock hanging out the letter box. Second thoughts, it's a bit cold out.
'Hanging' makes it sound big doesn't it?
I did have plans to attend Challoween with some friends, but as one of my jobs no longer exists I decided I couldn't afford the train tickets. Also because I was getting a little sick of being badgered to come despite my repetition of the pertinent facts, I kind of annoyed my good friend the host by suggesting I would only come if we spent the next few days having sex, in increasingly blunt terms until she stopped replying.

So, instead, I stayed in and fixed my housemate's xbox 360. Did you know that the RROD is really quite easy to fix at home in a fraction of the time it'll take microsoft, and with longer lasting results? As long as you're not bothered about the warranty, obv.
Indeed, and if mine dies again out of warranty I'll be doing just that.

This time, they can pay :)
Having just seen Bond and endured all manner of shit to get Fallout 3, I'm going to sit at home and play Fallout 3.

I also cunningly left the car at work so as to avoid it getting vandalised. As I've only seen two trick or treaters tonight, both under the age of five, both with shivering parental escort.
Well my little shindig was pretty good. Best bit was seeing one of my mates drunkenly stumbling backwards and ending up arse first in the bucket of icey water where all the beers were being kept, then not seeing the funny side and sulking off into the (very cold) night.
I got promoted on CoD4 last night which means I can now use a 'clan tag', which is alarming as then people might think I have a degree of competency in my playing.

Although, saying that, I'm really beginning to like the M16A with it's 3 shot action, and I even killed a couple of people with some grenades (on one occasion, my connection was mysteriously stopped after getting the first kill of the match with a beautifully thrown grenade through an archway and off the wall to land at the feet of some bloke settling down with a Light Machine Gun), but still don't understand how to kill helicopters.

Then I went to see Mr Bond, and then got home at 2350. So no beer for MaliA.
You kill helicopters most effectively by hitting them with a noob tube (in this case, the RPG-7 which is available as a perk).

Failing that, a noob tube (in this case, a light machine gun) works fairly well too.

Hm, how many RPG7's does it take?
Two or three... if two doesn't do it, just start shooting it with whatever gun you're carrying and you should finish it off.
Coolio. I'm trying to work through the Boot camp things. So spend time jumping off buildings at the moment as well.
On the map with all the missile silos, jump into one of the open ones. Done.
Ah, Halloween. I was wondering why the bowling alley* was full of teenagers dressed up as witches.

*left-handed bowling. Awesome. I didn't score more than 53 in any one game. And also: fuck me, bowling is expensive these days. What a waste of money. And my hand hurts today.

D'you know, that thought occoured to me alt night as I was driving to the cinema. Might have a bash later.
Vampire Weekend were spiffing. Support band Rah Rah Riot weren't bad either, clearly beholden to Arcade Fire. Best bit was the rousing finale of Cape Cod, and my mate Jackson got the singer's vampire cape when it was thrown into the heaving mass.

Bristol Carling Academy's still staffed with kill-joys though. And £3.40 for a Carling? What? Refused to buy beer inside on principle.
I went out, got very drunk, lots of pictures apparently are to be uploaded by various people...good-oh!

Just got in, have a headache and feel as if there's sawdust in myheadmouth...uuuuuh
I also went as a witch as my pirate costume was too big. Laddered my tights and have lost a fake witches nose I was given...hmmmm.....free shots were given in each pub to people that were dressed up to say 'thanks' which was also nice :)
Went to 2 places and stayed at the Swan (my local) and had a really really good night!!

Oh...and also I've told about 20 people that I am arranging a trip to Alton Towers today....uh.....fuck?
I had the best/worst halloween ever: I took a nap at 7:30pm and woke up at 3am.
I just realised I missed the last Dead Set. Ah well, E4 available online?
I went to see the amazing Ian Parker at Bury Met.
I went to the custard factory to see fleet foxes, I dont even like them heh.
I didn't realise this many people did stuff for halloween.
