and other sundry models

Do you play tabletop wargames?
No, of course not. Tabletop wargamers are so nerdy they make PC fanboys look cool and studly.  34%  [ 25 ]
Yes. I love my little painted figures. I give them all names and stroke them every night. I live for weapons damage charts.  5%  [ 4 ]

Have you finished all your others yet?
Imperium's in t'shops.
Hello everyone, it's me. I'm doing a thing. It's tiny resin men with guns doing shooting at others. I'd say it's a bit like Kill Team, but since I worked on Kill Team I'm not sure if I'm actually allowed to say that, so I won't.

Look at a brief post about it here. I promise it's really good, and there are hardly any Slayer lyrics in the rulebook*.

*ok, there are loads, but nerdy wargamers are bang into Slayer, innit?
Hey! Keep us posted AND SHOW US THE MINIS!!!
Less Khorney, more Tzeentchy!

Ongoing works. Maybe one day I will play Crisis Protocol
In the grimdark of the 41st millennium, there is a the Codex Astartes. The great and holy tome of space marine military doctorine.

Now there is something else.

Mali-tary doctrine. Dial M for MurderBus, destination Stabbytown.

Got bored at work. Some touch up bits required, but tabletop ready.
Most worried by the ones at the back, flexing their domination of legal knowledge along with their weaponry.
Nice jerb, Mali. That's more than I've managed to paint this year :S

Sculpty man is back! This time making a Space Crusade chaos man.

Looking good, Mali! I’ve got fine gravel and grass tufts if you want some extra bits sending for the bases x
Mighty fine gravel
Stupidly talented sculpty man: Necron edition

Big sale at Wayland at the mo. https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/6776-this-week-only

I..... I may have splurged a little bit
I hope you finished all your other spacemen first!
Warpsmith tempting.
Werl.... I now have 2 of the new Horus boxes. And a Fellblade. And 2 Sicarans. And 2 Reavers. And a Warbringer. And my Warlord. And 3 lots of Skiitariiiii. And many, many other things.
If you'd like a suggestion, the Leviathan Dread is incredibly satisfying. Chonky.
I would not like a suggestion.
I saw this on an advert earlier:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cl ... ng%20table

May be of interest to some with deep pockets and a large playing room? It's a $500 table with high sides and various additions to make "the perfect" gaming table
If it's made well, that's a fucking bargain.

Depending on how much the shipping stings, of course.
Oof, $159 shipping for just the table, and to be honest you want the covers and the drinks holders and all that guff to go with it, so it gets rather expensive rather fast.
Christ, +20% VAT on the whole lot. Yeah, nah.
There's a ton ofsunken gaming tables around already. https://naturaltwentytables.co.uk/ for instance. That one looks pretty bare-bones.

Anyway, !

The covers are the same price again, and without them is it really any different to a normal table?
Not really, apart from the surface and the walls. Hence it's not as cheap as I originally thought (it comes it at only a little less than the ones Dimrill linked to once you add all the bits on that you'd actually want).
Feeling brave and manly?

I've thought about building my own, there's nothing that complex going on and I've got the tools I'd need.

I don't have anywhere to put one, though :)
Sure, I'll pick it up from there.
Finally bought some super sculpy. Expect weird things being done to normal kits at some point in the future.
Got a captain and a lieutenant (3/4 done) because officers are important. The shields are fun.
An Officer and a Gentleman.
Got inspired to start going through some of my build pile the other month.

This was my favourite one so far, though. A Viper from Battlestar Galactica that I decided to do in a fairly Wipeout-inspired race livery. Just a really nice (but rare now) kit to put together and after being unsure when the paint went on a bit of weathering and I was happy with how it ended up.

Got a WWI Albatros to start on, some great schemes to choose from :nerd:

Here, in a pivotal moment during The Battle for Amazon Prime, the heroic yellow hatted Blood Angels vanguard have leapt from the APC and are about to fire ineffectually at the heretic Adeptus Mechanics before all getting killed.

Their sacrifice, however, held the wrong 'uns big guns up long enough for the elite troops to get into position and tidy up.
It took five hours to do three turns
FIVE HOURS.
It was a long slog for the infantry.

And an old one I finally got around to doing. Again cba lighting
Nice colour scheme! Are these the ones you bought ages ago?
Rocky was a new one from last month. Prodded me to do more of them as a break from doing more squads of Death Guard.
They’re brilliant, Dimmers.

I was going to ask about the colouration, and whether colours are ‘dictated’ by the makers or if you can go completely freestyle, but I guess from Zardoz’s reply it is the latter.
These are from Zealot, so no real colour schemes. I always wanted something different from the normal brown fur ish, so I went grey/blue like a wiememrmememrarma dorg. If I ever get some beastmen they'll be matched up too.
