So I decided to re-deal the bath. Not done this before, but we all like a challenge :)
Hope you got a good hand.

No... manual stuff is not my expertise :)
Did you have to shuffle stuff around?

Yes, I hand to move all the bottles, I am sure I have more shampoo, conditioner, shower gel (3 flavours :) ) and facewash, than any man needs :)

You're making the most of the had you were dealt, bud.
Are you still feeling flush after spending all this money on home improvements?
After buying all this new stuff he's going to have a Full House!
He's had great run so far.
Is there a shower screen above the bath, Kov? Will it fold?

It is a shower curtain..

Yes still feeling quite flush. I had saved and budgeted for the home improvements. They just all landed this month. The work only added up to £1000 including the kettle :P

The TV is a treat with my pay rise :)
That's ace mate, you must feel like a king.
If I am honest, yes.

I was on an IVA, so have been saving what was those payments, and that has allowed me to do the house.

The payrise I get will give me quite a large chunk of disposable income. Which I have I am looking to clear my loan I got for the new doors and, and save up for the next project.

The next big projects are - The Garden fence (just waiting a quote on it), Bathroom, kitchen and double glazing. All a bit spendy.
You lot need a good club over the head, it's like Kov's been given a spade and you expect him to keep digging! However he's acted like a real diamond and shown real heart, and you are all going down the river.

Kov, go back and correct your original post and make these Charlie's look like barm pots.
Stick to how it is Kov, if you edit it will only twist the replies.
If he changes it, all these puns will flop!
I have been up since 4:30... :P
I have 'sealed' the bath.. I am quite chuffed with it, it is not perfect but it will be water tight..
All those puns were just a little Crazy.

We have a usable bathroom again. Still needs the ceiling painting, new light fitting and floor covering, but for the first time in 11 days we can have a shower and primary loo.
That is great news..

I bet every one is happy to be able to shower :)
Yes, and not only in the bathroom, but also in the kitchen, as the damn thing is leaking through the ceiling. And the grout is running where the water hits it.

Plumber's due back tomorrow to try to fix it.

It's a real shame because up to the point that we tried to use it, it was going great.
Truck festival line up.

All credit to the plumber, he came as promised today and spent a couple of hours getting the floor up to find the problem and fix it. Granted, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but he’s been quick to sort it out.
Good to hear that at least, Warhead. What will happen with the damage to the ceiling? I don’t know how these things work but is he insured/liable to cover the cost of that?
Luckily, there was no damage to the ceiling, the water came through the cable entry for the fluorescent light fitting, so there was no water build up. The plumber was very professional throughout the whole refurbishment, project managing the whole thing with the tiler, plasterer and electrician, so I’d imagine he’d just have arranged for the repair himself.
Oh, that’s a relief for you, I’m sure. The admin on trying to arrange that kind of thing can be stressful enough.
I am part of an online tri club. They do themes for photos each week.

This weeks was swimming. This photo is of me just got out of the water after finishing the swim, that I failed the year before.

I was happy and crying at the same time.
They don't think too hard about these themes do they? :)

It is a tri club. No. It is basically. A choice of swim, bike or unsurprisingly running. :)
