The shed used for band practice? We always used a scout hut until two of us rented a house. The we drove the neighbours crazy.
Clearing out my old stuff in my parents' basement, I came across this clipping from June 1999 when I was 17.

I was spending a week with a photographer for a local newspaper as part of my A-Level German exchange and as such appeared in quite a few stories that week.
Was doing a clear out yesterday, and found these.
Isn't that your passport number on display there?

I think they’re all expired now.

How much longer do you have your current sleeve for?
I'm looking forward to the rest of "The Seven Ages Of Kovacs".

Found a pile of old photos so thought I'd brighten up your Monday with a revival of the greatest thread in forum history.

Log-flume reaction shot photo taken at Cornwall's premier theme park, circa 1996.
A friend tagged me in this the other day, so it might as well join this thread:

I'm glad you managed to quit smoking Devilman!
My Ma sent me these pictures yesterday. I wanted the one of me when youngest to show Darwin as he’s not going to get the introduction to school due to Covid, and his nursery decided to remain closed this year, but she sent bonus Sports Days pictures, too. Looking strong in the egg and spoon.
My uncle posted a picture of me from secondary school to Facebook

Gosh, you look young to be in secondary school. You also look like you might have been in Grange Hill! Very cute!
I'm wearing the school jumper, so I'm pretty sure that was 1st year, so I would have been 11

I think I'm about 7 here (standing in front of my dad), looking very much like it's still the 70s despite it being the early 80s
That shirt is very.
Found an old Railcard, circa early 2000s or very late 90s.
I’m getting very Dexter vibes
Hah, yes, I see Dexter, too.

Fletcher?
All the time.

He was in Bugsy Malone, you know.
Mum found an old keyring and thought I'd like it

Good to see that back then I wasn't exactly a smiley person either.
So how did you feel when you found out you’d inherited the chocolate factory?

Captured mid-shine to Dick Halloran.

The early-mid 80s was a cruel between time of 70s fashion for our generation.

You don’t need to tell that to this girl, who inherited her FIRST EVER PAIR OF JEANS at the age of 8, from her older cousins. It was 1987, and she was made to wear bell bottoms. Sad lols.

I should probably watch that film one day. :)

As long as it’s the original. Also the book is very good.

Ph, goodness, DM! You must, it’s brilliant. Grandpa Joe is wonderful, and Gene Wilder as his funny creepy best.
Grandpa Joe is a horrible person! Lays on his ass for years pretending to be bed ridden, letting the Buckets support his lazy carcass, but as soon as the chance for a tour of a magical chocolate factory shows up? Boom! Dancing in his nightgown.

Horrible!

I was not slim
Your ventriloquist dummy looks happy though.
That one's a twofer!
I have questions about the disco setup.
The DJ looks a little like DavPaz with a moustache... Ask him!

If he can hear you with the way that the right hand speaker is pointing pretty much directly at his left ear.
That was indeed question 1.
Gotya... Question one. Are you Davpaz with a moustache?

I agree.
I thought it looked like Bobby Ball.
But... I have a moustache
