Captain Marvel. First third was a jumbled mess, which I know was the intention, but that doesn't mean it works as a film. Second third was really good, final third was excellent.
Brie Larson was great in the role, really liked her, and Samuel L was let loose more than usual and was very engaging and amusing. The youngyfiying is spooky good.
Now I'm used to OLED HDR 4k goodness, it really shows up how bad cinemas are these days, I was watching on the main screen in 4k in my local multiplex, and the quality was just utter shite. Good sound but shocking washed out low definition image. I'd happily pay a tenner to watch it at home if that was possible, rather than the fiver of my local multiplex.
