Friday is a possibiloty.
It seems it needs a patch, so make sure you download it and start it up once before Friday. It will save some time.
And it's over 3GB!
Friday next week is (sadly) no good for me. Hopefully the game is good enough to encourage a second session I can manage to attend!

It is a massive download isn't it? Just to compare, Dead Rising 2 is free on the Xbox today and that comes in at a little over 6gb.
I'm pretty sure we all frowned on it in 2008. In 2013 most people on this forum can download 3GB in about 10-15 mins.
The most annoying this is it's all the DLC maps, which you have to buy separately. So if you don't, you've had to download 3GB unnecessarily.
