I can't for the life of me make sense out of that. YTD mean anomaly vs annual mean anomaly? What does it mean that 2015 is sitting at 1.1/1.1? Why is 2016 predication a green vertical line in the distance?

The pattern is so unreadable, you might as well draw in a chain of fox heads on sticks.

The pattern is incredibly obvious, I just can't tell what the pattern is meant to demonstrate.

Not a Brasseye fan then.
It was the better part of 20 years ago. I can just about remember what I had for breakfast this morning.

And if you do that, the word 'cruelty' starts to flash.

Don't you have the same thing for breakfast every day? I do...
Shocking stuff in Paris. But another commitment to the cause as a result.

Ooft. That's a very effective representation.

I think you must be looking at it back-to-front. It's actually very, very bad.
No as a piece of artwork, it is great.

Us boiling alive in 100 years not so much....

I know, Kovacs.

That was a riff on the politics thread where I kept asking Kern why he couldn't stand to replace David Cameron.
Meanwhile it's 32.5°C in the UK. In mid-September.

We're fucked

Well, rightly or wrongly, now that Trump's got in and Brexit's happening, no-one is going to give a fig about alleged man-made climate change; politically speaking, that is now dead as a dodo. From this point or thereabouts, it's going to be a free-for-all with wealth and jobs creation dials set to maximum and hang any consequences, all part of the political sea-change we are witnessing.

So I guess we're gonna find out if there's anything in it or not, by direct empirical observation... ;)
Oh joy, while we're at it, we can test the effects of sarin on groups of people, because I have personally never seen any of them die from it, so I don't believe it.
See you on the other side, huh. :D
Besides, take comfort from the fact that Gaywood's predicting Armageddon, thereby jinxing it so it won't happen. :D
Ha ha, yeah. It's fucking hilarious.
...What do you want me to do about it?
Might as well laugh, it's possibly one of a number of really shite things to happen politically in the last few months.
Well who knows, he might destabilise the world to the point where we'll never even know about climate change because we get to watch our children and everything else we love die in a nuclear war. LOL smiley smiley LOL.
I very much doubt it, Mark. That's very bad for business after all. :)
If sea levels rise as per the model, We could lose Gt Yarmouth.

I keep the lights on as much as possible.

Trump has a string of bankruptcies to his name.

:D

Yeah, I quite fancy a "Riviera style" cafe culture developing around the babbling brook in my garden, even as it's transformed into a raging torrent (with "white horses" as per Lord of the Rings).

This is the principal reason I had them chisel out the catalyst in my Harley's two-into-one.

But we ARE finding out by direct empirical observation already.

You can moan all you want about climate models, but actual honest to goodness empirical measurements of temperature rises and the effect on the world are being made as we speak, and have been for years. Unless the rising temperatures, rising sea levels and death of half of the Great Barrier Reef were all some shady ploy to stop Big Coal.

Yes but this is just a normal consequence of a polar shift. Cavey read it on a Flat Earth website or something.
I love watching Flat Earth people try to explain time zones in their model.
I've had 2 roses put out flowers in the last week, only a couple on bushes that have 40-50 on them in the summer.

Also have a large date type palm tree, it never gets dates on it, but in a good year it will put out loads of small white flowers which smell like honey. That has only happened maybe 2 summers from the 6 I have been at my house, but the tree is doing this right now!

I saw a quote from one of the flat earth facebook groups stating that they had members "all around the globe"
Or how you can fly from New Zealand to South America without it taking 40 hours.
You can't, anyone who says you can is part of the globe conspiracy.
Damn you Air New Zealand! Damn you to hell!
