I really bad for doing a few stretches as a warm up, and a warm down doesn't exist, save for making a cup of tea and a hot shower. I have had a read about foam rollers, might look into it.
Stretching always seems controversial - I think the latest is; don't bother, unless you're doing active stretches (so moving, like walking lunges). But it changes - doing a few, vaguely, is probably worse than, say, walking for 5 minutes before you get going.
