Makes sense if the world is inverted.

Mindblowing, eh?
We need a "Mind. Blown." Dimlie.
As a 6-year-old playing Castlevania III, I thought that was way cool. He looked less of a ponce back then, too.

More of a surly, hard-drinking dark prince.

FUCK OFF, DOOGIE HOWSER
What's the deal with the cog room, by the way? I assume you hit the cogs and the door at the top right opens, right? But I hit all four cogs (they made a clicking noise) and nothing happened! Is there a specific order?
You can do them in any order, but you have to hit them until you hear a clicking sound instead of just metal-on-metal. It'll take a different number of hits for each one. I can't remember what the reward is, though. Probably a HP-up?

Ed: oops, I didn't see your parenthesis. If they all clicked, maybe you missed one? I think there are four or five in total. Also, the door they open is at the bottom left of one of the rooms, IIRC. (There is a wall to break at the top right, though.)
I'm in the inverted castle! So I guess that tallies!
Oh right, yeah! It should still work in the inverted one...

You can link your phone to a pad these days, grandad. And you can get nice cradles to hold your phone atop your pad.

Did you know this is available on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility?
It’s also on PS4 and has been for ages.
I have it on Vita and gave up on it after probably being shit at it and dying endlessly with no obvious new direction to go in.

Past the first village, but not by much.
