So... Why is that happening?
Handcuffed dance routine, where they'll roll over each other's shoulders, fling each other apart then jerk back in again, fight - embrace, etc. It was fun watching passersby stumble upon the rehearsal / portrait shoot and wonder what the hell was going on.
This is in working order, even if it's not the right way up. NB This is how it was when I arrived to fix it and it was still like that when I left, coz the job got pulled before I could fuck it up even more.

Here's what appears to be a space rocket lifting off from a street light. It's not though. Probably.

Nicely caught!
I've been working on my portrait game. I'm getting more requests for dance and theatre shoots, it's been pretty hectic lately trying to get shoot stuff after work and getting the edits in. I'm knackered, but kind of excited. Anyway, very slight warm tint on these. I swear to God it's not sepia, honest. I'm rather addicted to black and white at the moment, and I don't see much shifting me from that for the time being. Straight out of camera JPEGs using the Fujifilm Acros simulation, with a slight film curve applied in Capture One.

Spoils for the rest, so it don't take up a big wodge.

Last one reminds me a bit of Cocteau Twins Elizabeth Fraser.
Your upskirt game needs work in the second pic ;)
Good thinking for clickbait! My next blog post title could be, "He couldn't shoot upskirts! Cardiff / *Your Town* laughs at hapless pornographer."
Always good to see more Pete PixTM!

High quality stuff as always. Still happy you ditched the DSLR?
Cheers, bud! Without a doubt. I don't think I'd be the same photographer I am today if I'd stuck with the DSLR. Having an EVF is great for teaching you about the use of light, and I learnt from the limitations of the earlier, slower Fujifilm cameras. Plus those lovely Fuji bodies just make me want to pick them up! Speaking of which... to the camera gear thread...!

Still waiting for an email btw!
Went hiking in the Chilterns at the weekend. Nothing strenuous, but good to get out.
Took this picture of a country lane and felt the magic Google colour enhancement brought it to life. Might get it put on canvas for my wall.
Pretty nice sunset tonight
That's the cover of your crime thriller sorted.
Giphy "perfect":

Solid work, Zardoz. And Giphy.
The perfect way in which he looks upwards to the previous post makes me forgive gopher for all the duffers.
Poor gopher, getting all the blame.
Similar skyline here yesterday
Also, I'm reminded of this excellent Twitter account, Not Quite Light, which uses dusk to take wonderful photos

Atlas bar on the left, The Knott opposite, on Deansgate. Looks Lowryesque.
For some reason my brain interpreted that big pic Zardoz posted as saying "Dampaz"
Yeah, my first immediate thought too, Warhead - Lowry!

Incidentally a Lowry paintjng was the first piece of art I consciously remember seeing, just a few years old, in a Doctor's waiting room.
Lowry is my favourite artist. :luv:
There is a Squirt family story that some distant uncle-in-law was a delivery person for Lowry - like his paperboy or milkman or something. One Christmas Lowry gave said relative a Merry Christmas note, and included a nice little signed drawing along with it. The uncle, being an uncultered buffoon, threw the drawing away as being a worthless bit of tat and therefore lost a Christmas tip worth a fortune.
Please be sure to relentlessly remind your uncle-in-law of this with stick figure drawings in your annual Christmas card exchange. The oaf.

I wuv Lowry. He captured the feel of my neck of the North so well, the early 80s still felt in part like one of his paintings.
I went for a wander around The Lowry in that there Salford. Perhaps because I'm pretty clueless and so it was unexpected I came away more taken with the stuff he's perhaps less well known for, like the seascapes and portraits.

Did you see the recent article about Eric Tucker? He produced over 400 paintings and was compared to Lowry. I'm certainly don't follow art, but I like the examples used in the article.
Blew the dust of the big camera and used the neglected 55-200 lens to catch some of our recent visitors.
Yeah same, it's mad how this lockdown has brought out the wildlife:

What seed are you putting out?!
First in a new series: Beach or Mordor?
Picked up my proper camera for the first time in a while:

Really enjoyed myself even if I only ended up with this one that I wanted to keep.
Nice shot!

It’s a crime having all our camera stuff and not getting use out of it all.
Yeah, that's a lovely shot. :)

I have reported this to the Lancashire constabulary.
Managed to get out to a nice forest park early yesterday morning. Was with the family though so didn't really get much chance to wander about trying to frame shots. But I did come away with this one that I liked:

That's great, Love a woodland walk. just needs a stream near by and then it would be perfect!
Stunning, Mark.

That level of detail is astonishing. Almost hyper-real
Aww, thanks for the comments folks :luv:
Great light coming through! Where were you?
Just up at Beacon Fell, the cats had woken us all up at half five so we went up there early. It was lovely.
Most imoptantly, how did you manage get it the right way up in here?
I turned my computer upside down while I uploaded it.
Will Whitby end up on it’s side?
Few from an early morning hike this mornng with Zardoz and another friend. High above the tier 3 plague pits:
