Unlike last time, I did answer the religion question.

There was no non-binary gender option. I imagine a lot of people will be unhappy about that.

It said you had to select male or female at the start and you could choose what you identify as later on. If they get unhappy it's because they want to, not because there's a need to.

I disagree. It seems to suggest that there are two sexes but make way for numerous expressions of gender, but there are people born in a number of different intersex states, so the biological duality doesn’t capture everyone. I think it’s been usual to assign intersex individuals a determined ‘sex’ at birth, though there have been many instances where this has been later determined to have been wrong. I don’t know why they didn’t just make a write-in option for both questions.
Because of centuries of doctrine.
First release is at 11 today. Oo, the excitement.
Ooh, do we have to sign up to that heredity website to see it again?
I think you'll have to wait until 2121 for full access.

This is just the headline numbers.

ONS page
Oh, I knew about the full details, but If I want to know how many men in their 60s with Caribbean heritage live in Skegness went to University, I should be all good?
I think it's just the basic population numbers for now with the fun stuff is coming later in the year. I want to know how many edgy teenagers still consider themselves Jedi.

In addition, we will publish an interactive article to explore population changes by local authority, and an interactive game to test knowledge of population across England and Wales

Well, that's my afternoon sorted.
Rest of the release calendar here.
And on 21st March 2021, the population of England and Wales was ...

I was expecting it to be over the 61 million mark, so on Price is Right rules I'd be out
The ONS released another bunch of figures yesterday. Disappointingly, it seems the Jedi wave of 2011 has vanished as it's not listed on the detailed religion table so must be classed under "Other". I guess the students are now in their 30s. But there's double the number of Satanists compared to the number of druids (5,000 v 2,500), and under 1,900 Scientologists, so that's a stat..
Order 66 was executed in 2018
