Firstly - please skip over this if you're having job trouble because otherwise I'm going to feel like an insensitive asshole otherwise. :S

You saw the warning, right?

...

I had my most successful month ever (in terms of gross income) in June of this year after working my fucking ass off a billion hours a week.

I just topped it!

This year has been a rollercoaster, and continuing to see upward growth despite everything is just... well, I'm so bloody proud of myself. :metul:

Well done, Jem. Really happy for you! xx
Heh, I like the way Giphy has a ready stock of @Grim... gifs lined up.
Jem that's amazing news!

I'm so pleased that all that hard work is paying off. During Covid when you've had the kids at home too - fantastic.

You are one clever lady, and I'm proud to know you. :luv:
Well done Jem! Good to hear positive stuff so no one hold back!
Thanks all. Am celebrating with a glass of bubbly :D
Solicitors have confirmed a£2500 payout for my injury. Which is nice
I'm happy for you all and everything but the real Yay here is me winning three cuddly toys from two credits on one of those grabbing crane arcade machines.

Yeah!! That’s a really good point. It IS super nice to hear someone with excellent news.
Agreed... It's brilliant news Jem! Well done.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. You're all so awesome :luv:

Lots of work still to be done this year but feel very lucky to be in the position I'm in. :)

It is original. Yes and terrible.

It needs replacing but will be a big job. As the pink tiles will need replacing and I bet the plaster comes off.
The ideal time to replace that bathroom was this week

Not enough cash to do that. I need to move the boiler first

Normally, I'd leap to a defence, but the "is it a wig?" thing has put me right off her.

You could at least have adopted MaliA’s Heath Robinson coat hanger and string thing for the light fittings.

I have fitted it properly :)
I like those old pink suites. Very 50s. Olive on the other hand?

When you do want rid of it, advertise it. You'll be surprised at the number of people who seek these things out to refit as 'retro'. They'll pay you to take it!

Time to celebrate by taking out a massive loan!
Yes indeed... I would rather not, but I do need new double glazing :)

And bathroom suite
What is wrong with pink :)

New boiler first, then bathroom..
Buy a turquoise lightbulb, then the suite would look grey. But so would your skin.

It’s less the colour for me and more that it’s so very 70s
Oh yes it is 1980s original... :)

I was going to get a new suite, but I could not a delivery in time, and the floor was a priority
Kov, your bathroom is fine. Does it get you clean? Then it’s fine. Your floor is of course your priority, people are just teasing. Wait another 5 years and retro bathrooms will be in.

I wouldn't worry about it, you'll get to it one day I'm sure. It's functional, which is more important than how it looks!

Reminds me of this sketch

"Given that this is a room in which I shit and wash my balls, I don't see that it's particularly important what the colour scheme is"
I know I have mentioned it.

But today. I am officially Iva free. It feels so bloody great.
Really pleased for you, Kov. Must feel good!
Yes it does. Now to get it removed off all my credit files :)
Congratulations!!
Well done dude :)
It feels good, although my credit rating has dropped from 409 (fair) to 200 (very poor), which has confused me.
I think sometimes if you're not actively paying off debt or credit, it can affect your score because lenders don't know if you can reliably make payments or something like that. Bit weird that it's dropped now though. Do you use the moneysavingexpert credit club thing?

No but I will look at that.

I have just cleared a loan today, which is awesome. I am on a roll.

Just awaiting a cheque for £2500, which is due any day now.
Defo sign up to the MSE credit club. It's free, and tells you what things are impacting your score etc.
I just have done, thank you..
