I don't know how you do it, Malc, I love swimming (on the very rare occasion I can be arsed) but I would never do it in a cold body of water like that, and certainly not topless.
Still, that first image is the very embodiment of "I regret everything"

That was after I'd swam to that waterfall and back 10 times as well, so I had "warmed up" (I had just got back in after getting out to grab my phone for the selfies).
And yes, it was bloody freezing. If it doesn't rain over the next few days, I'll probably go back this weekend.

It's a really nice picnic area (and although you are not supposed to camp there, camp site too) so in the summer there were a few, but the main path is about 20m higher than the river, and even then I haven't seen anyone it since the start of October.
In the summer, those that did go past on the lower path, did tend to say hi, and walk on by.

I tried to enjoy TikTok, but all it would ever show me is clip after clip of people doing the same hand jive and pointing at captions that you couldn’t read as they lasted for less than 0.5 seconds. It made me feel old.
