Fair enough. Although you only get the full effect of this when you appreciate that Craster carried on digging long after the hole was deeper than he is tall.

To be fair, surely the shrapnel accelerates away from the blast point - so if you're right on top, you'll avoid most of the lethal force of the shrapnel, and instead only be hit by the percussive force of the blast.

Eh? The shrapnel will be pushed out equally in all directions from the grenade, including into whatever's lying on it. That's why his bag was shredded.

Yes indeed. However force imparts acceleration, not velocity, so if you're right on top of it, the shrapnel won't be going as fast. Or have I completely made that up?

Hah, indeed. No harm putting a link and a quote, anyway. But yes, Craster is a belm.
But who is the most belmingist?

Heh.

I would like this thread to take off please, so it's not just my hapless lack of physics being highlighted.

As an aside, I'm still not entirely convinced, and am looking for willing volunteers for extensive testing.

Where did that belming goose girl go?

Okay then: viewtopic.php?p=216#p216
wow, that was lookign at history.... how many from that thread still post?
Well, Craster is obviously the most belmingest

I like cock.

Although Devilman has a very good point.
KovacsC wrote:

29 people in that thread. 19 still post, 10 don't.

Thanks, saved me using my counting stick :)

You know your post shows up first in the search list now, right?
KovacsC wrote:

Most of them, I think.

Weird, reading that thread is like watching the first season of the Simpsons; it's the characters you know and love, but they haven't quite developed fully yet.

I did realise that, but I can't be arsed to sort it out. Good dodge in the quoting, though. :hat:

About 19 out of 29....
I'd say two-thirds is most of them. It's certainly a majority.

Falsehood. Blue Cheese or Extra Mature Cheddar is best melted on a burger.
I think we'd do better to stick to things that are factually incorrect, rather than opinion, otherwise this could just fall apart into endless circular debate and we already have over a hundred of those threads created each week. Also, I'm really interested in proving Craster to be the biggest belmoid.

So, anyone else?
Doctor Glyndwr wrote:

As if this thread was ever going to be used for anything but saying "I disagree".
OK, we can settle this. I'll engage in a factual debate on the Internet and Craster can sit on a live hand grenade. We'll see who comes off worst.

You will.
Craster will simply sit on the grenade until he gets bored and wander off.

Unless you meant an armed grenade, of course.

It appears we have a whole lot of belming going on here.
That never happened.
This was a doozie.

I am sure I said something atrociously idiotic - I shall locate.
Ah yes, "mobile phone breast pockets" :DD :DD :DD

It'w true. You have also agreed with such people as John Coffey, Grim..., Jonarob, Me, Wullie, Mimi, Mr Chris, The Gaywood, DavPaz, Craster, Kalmar, [I'm not reading 6 pages of Myoptika agreeing with people]

So overall, you don't have very many original thoughts. :p
'Belm'?

Not a term to which I've been accustomed, somewhat surprisingly, but I gather it ain't too complimentary. So then, 'Belmy' posts from me? Hey, where to start eh guys? 1,200+ to choose from; I am embarrassed by riches both here and elsewhere on the internet.
Captain Caveman wrote:

It's an onomatopoeia.

'onomatopoeia' - fabulous word, not heard that term before. :)
Strangley, 'onomatopoeia' is not an onomatopoeia

I'm quite sure that in my 25,000+ posts there are a few of me disagreeing with people, also.

That could almost qualify as one of them!
Only after someone else has disagreed so you can agree with them.

Ah! So the Dimrill and Dave Duet of Wrongosity is now a Triumvirate I see!

You're all completely mad.
I think you'll find that The Rev Owen said it made him hate games, too.

Get fucked. I'm right. Even Mr Dave agrees with me.
If you want the correct opinion on burgers and burger cheese, you ask the fat man, not Skinny and Skinnier.
