What a surprise. It's rather like someone buying up the old British Leyland brands and launching new cars called the "Austin Allegro". Just fucking let it go, the name Commodore means jack shit.
Even Amstrad realised their name was no longer doing them any favours in the PC market, hence why Alan Sugar purchased Viglen (who's HQ is now seen on The Apprentice as opposed to Brentwood House).
The only place the name "Commodore" is at home is on the cover of Retro Gamer. Let it fucking go, any product launched under the Commodore name for the next 1000 years is doomed!

The article seems to suggest that the more obvious activities being carried out under the banner (hardcore gaming PCs) are unaffected.
If the parent company goes bust they'll only not be affected if they can be sold on. Again.
