The Wondergnome thread
Reply
The Wondergnome might be coming. He's buying my spare 360 Elite I somehow have got and I told him he had to come here for to find multiplayer shenanagins.

Not sure if he will come, but he might. I mean, god help us all if he does, but nonetheless, come he might.

We await his arrival.....
...Comical Gnomes?
not really comical - just jolly I suppose. I hope that clears it all up. Hi by the way.
Hello and welcome, can I interest you in a cup of tea, or maybe a biscuit?
and there I was hoping this was a thread all about me. That's a kick to the ego, I can tell you.
have no fear - we can ignore me and carry on back to you if that makes it better.
You must be nicer as he gets banned from forums all the time.
That was only two or three times, and all from the same forum :spew:
This is just like an exciting new wrestler turning up on a wrestling programme about wrestling. Wrestleman gets hyped up by short mysterious vignettes about him wrestling, or not wrestling more often. Then when the wrestleman turns up to wrestle, his wrestling is average and we are all wishing he wrestled more so we can evaluate his wrestling properly. Welcome wrestle gnome!
/s wrestl wonder
Ssh, Dimrill. I have heard that when Wondergnome was in OVW, he could do a Shooting Star Press, which is an impressive move for a guy his size*.

* possibly

Arguably my favourite post of the new forum so far, and I can't exactly say why.

Welcome Wonder/Wrestle Gnome! Though I am slightly frightened of your avatar. I fear gnomes. (You too, Comical.)

Is this why they call you nervous pete, nervouspete?

(and welcome, Wrestledome)
Hello Wondergnome. I feel as if I should know who you are.

All the time.
LulZ, he actually came on here!

I'm dropping his 360 off tonight and lending him Bioshock to get started. All add his gamertag when he posts it here and make him feel all loved. He's not got Forza 2 yet so can't join the gentleman's club. Which online games, other than SWOS, are good for two player, and cheap?

nervouspete - if you are in Cardiff and you like books, you've no need to fear him or his avatar.

Lies.
Hullo there Image

I am slightly worried by the increase in gnomes, myself...
I hope you won't be garden your opinions from us on here, Wonder.
Goatboy - do you mean two-player over the intarwebs? If so, that's easy: Crackdown. Trust me.
Oh hells yeah I know about Crackdown - I meant live arcade stuffs, cheapo stuffs, y'know?

Also - he's not got a component or HDMI on his HDTV so can't play until tomorrow - he's got that other kind.
Unf. Most of the XBLAH stuff is playable in multiplayer over Live! To be honest, you'd be better off asking "Hey, is <x> mulktiplayer?"

Assault Heroes and Doom are two good obvious starting points, newly reduced to about £3.50 as they are. Both allow for co-op, and Doom has deathmatch too of course. Sorted.
Do you like puzzle games?
I could recommend a few arcade games I like but you might be more of a shooter type person.
I like the new gnome better.

Well, Crackdown is now about the price of one of the top tier live arcade games

look what I did. And all in two posts.
Wondergnome had about the same impact of one of those "viral adverts" in marketing. We'd all forgotten about him, but he recalls events from several months ago with nostalgia.

Fear his power.

By the way, when I read your name the Kinks song keeps going off in my head. You know, "Wondergnome, some mother's son..."

Visited your site by the way and poked around a bit, most fine. May even comment at some point!
