I think Rocky got very confused about mole hair in this last chapter. I'm not sure if he got confused between moleskin and mohair?
That was a really strange chapter, although I don't tend to go to riding outfitters. I liked Adaam though. More please.

For reasons I don't quite understand, I kept on imagining Grigor, the Russian pimp, as looking like a cross between Tim Farron and John Sim's portrayal of the Master. I've not got a clear image of Belinda yet.

Right, now get one of us to talk on our phones outside your car while you're in the boot.
I have been in the boot of a car a few time, but that is another story
No, I think whatever it is it will fit quite well into this story. Do continue...
Who hasn't been in the boot of a car at some point.

(Yes, phone. "Car" . Not "Cat". I hope none here have been inside a cats boot)
The Rover is decently soundproofed, as one might expect from a Gentleman's Conveyance

Oddly, that made me think if you.

I would guess because you have given me the only whiskey that I have liked.

He's usually wearing them while he performs his fraudulent activities.

Took me a moment to figure out what you were on about. I was still thinking of boot as booty, or rather a cats arse. I was wondering if you had a problem with a guy raiding* cats arse.

* apparently, fraudulent becomes guy raiding on SwiftKey.

If there were to be one person I knew who had a problem with a guy raiding cats arse, it would be myp.
you are protesting too much
Why would you instantly think of an arse when you see the word 'boot'? You're a sick man, David.

No, but the context of the word boot in relation to a car is somewhat different from that of a foot.

noun
1.the foot of an animal having claws.
2.the foot of any animal.

Still sure cats have no feet?
So cats have no paws then, what with a paw being defined as a foot...

Just to check... Where do you think the safest place to be in the vicinity of a grenade?
You know cats have paws.. you are just looking more foolish now :)

No one describes paws as feet. Paws and the fuzzy thing that allows the cat to stand etc
Generally, a 'paw' is the type of foot that we are accustomed to see on dogs and cats. ... Many bigger animals have hooves (e.g. horses, cows) and some just have 'feet' (e.g. elephants). I would say 'feet' for dinosaurs -- some had feet like elephants and some had feet like birds
Do bats have arms or wings?
I got so dumb reading this that I forgot how to to end a
the last dozen or so posts have made me physically laugh out loud. Which is good going given the hangover.

The dictionary was written by a human so of course they'll refer to paws as feet. Otherwise it's impossible to succinctly describe.
This is the best thing ever.

This is ridiculous.

So paws are also legs?

I guess your brain allows you to stand too.

Untrue. You don't need a brain to stand

So how come amoebae can't stand? Hmmm?
Can a hat stand?
They can go prone though.
Can stairs stand?
I think, in troubled times such as these, we have to turn to our ancestors and wise sayings they passed down to us. I think the following one is particularly apposite in this situation:

"A cat always lands on its bloodied paw stumps"
