"Stone" croissants! Excellent.
We are outnumbered about 4:1 in our flat.
We're outnumbered about 50:1. It's ace.
I like your house better.
Hold on - are you a human or a lego person?

Does lego person mean just minifies, or does it include Duplo people, and people-shaped lego-brick assemblages?
Minifigs I believe.

The idea of living in a house with 200 real people is horrifying.

No, I'm a real people, and we probably have about 200 or so minifigs, 2 duplo people, and maybe 3 of those old Lego people what were those disembodied torsos and heads with the weirdly articulated octopus arms.

Lego confirms Simpsons construction set

Lego, the world's second-biggest toymaker, has confirmed that it will produce a construction set based on the hit TV animation, the Simpsons.

The kit will include figures of the main characters including Homer, Bart, Marge and Ned Flanders.

The Danish toymaker struck the deal with the show's owners, Twentieth Century Fox.

Fox is scheduled to air an episode of the show featuring the cast in Lego form in May, in the US.

"We know our fans will love the challenge of building the Simpsons' family home in great detail and the ability to collect quintessential characters in Lego minifigure form," Jill Wilfert, from the Lego Group said in a statement.

The Simpsons, a satirical parody of family life, has been running for 25 years making it the longest running scripted TV show in the US.

"Even though the Simpsons has been on for a quarter if a century it still resonates with young makes viewers an ideal target for the Lego brand," said Brad Adgate, head of research at Horizon Media.

The set will go on sale in the US next month priced at $199.99 (£120). The company plans to launch a separate line of 16 Simpsons mini figures in May.

Strong sales growth saw Lego overtake Hasbro last year to become the world's second-biggest toy maker behind Mattel.

It has been helped by the success of kits and figures related to movies including Lord of the Rings, Toy Story and the Avengers.

The strategy started in 1999 with Star Wars themed kits.

More recently, Lego has been focusing on Asia where sales have been booming.

This year it plans to build its first factory in China.

The firm is controlled by Denmark's richest man, Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, who is the grandson of Lego's founder.
Excellent. Bet it will be £149 or more...
In terms of numbers produced, Lego is the worlds biggest tyre manufacturer. TRUFACT.

I will have a chat for you.
For those with a tighter budget, there's a set of 16 Lego Simpsons minifigs to collect.

The bump codes on the packet seem nice and clear this time round so it shouldn't be too hard to get a complete set.

Russell has five now. Four very generously given by Nervoso and one I bought the other day. It's like watching someone grow 20 years younger in an instant. <3
Oh, sorry! Lego Batman, hehe.
D'oh! Not Batman. Simpsons! Getting all befuddled!

Lego Advent calendars are having a bit of a price war in the supermarkets.

Tesco have price-matched Asda, meaning the Star Wars Calendar is £18.97 and the... nope, the other one is now sold out. The Lego city WAS £14.97, might get them back in.

Asda have them for the same price, but if you have Tesco vouchers of £5 or more, you can use them with clubcard boost and they are worth double, so £5 voucher gets you £10 off, etc. Depends how much you shop at Tesco I guess.
Excellent. I definitely need the Star Wars one again.

Oh, and there's apparently going to be a Big Bang Theory set next year.
I got the city one.

Just watched it. Looks good for a small team building exercise.

I have my LEGO Star Wars calendar in the cupboard. Can't wait to start opening it. I want Darth Vader in a Santa Hat!
Yes, I am too rubbish to work out how to link to this from my iPad via FB.

Can't yet find any more sources confirming.
Fuck yeah Daredevil!

Must have quite the chafing problem with that.
Heh... Um, that was supposed to be a link to a Guardian Article with the same story.
Well, look what I found in my loft. There's quite a bit left to build yet, and I'm running out of space to put it.

The one and only bit of parental advice I'll give you is make sure that you keep all your kid(s) Lego sets and instructions, as they'll really thank you for it a long time later.
It's been such a treat rebuilding this lot.
Oh man. That is special. Nostalgia alert!
There's another 13 sets to build yet.
