Massive dull lists of skills inside spoiler tags from now on, if you wouldn't mind.

Bugger that, I can barely kill level 1 NPCs, I'm not poking a toe anywhere where people have millions of skillpoints in ships that are bigger than my caravan. *parps self*

Learning when and how to run is a viable skill in itself.

Seiously.

I bet you you won't have a problem. Don't listen to the carebears, it's a lot quieter than you think.
Yeah. I think I'll make him block for me on a trade run in the near future to get the hang of it.

Miserable git.
S'alright, yours wasn't massive ;)

If I were to resub I'd pay for you to deliver me ships, modules and ammo, y'know.

Tsara can only fly gallente, and i prefer the amarr stuff...

Muschos iskies to be had delivering me stuff..
Are there not any web-based apps that make use of the API? So, say, if we had a BeeX Corp webpage we could use the keys to display realtime information on our characters status? Would be nifty if so.

What you need is a hotshot web developer with insomnia who is keen enough on EVE to make it happen and loves knocking out little web projects like this.
Sounds like me, except I'd rather someone else did it while I go off skilling on some missions ;)

I tried sticking this through Babelfish, but it's still not made any sense.
Comical, another good way of earning money, is too look through the 'Courier contracts' and pick up a few of them if you are heading in a direction. they pay quite well, and are generally OK.

I paid my couriers between 10 and 20% of the collateral to haul ships and stuff into lowsec and they were always done quickly.

If I were to resubscribe to EVE, I'd pay for you to delivery me ships (via the use of an in-game contract between two players), modules, and ammo, don't you know?

My character can only fly one race's type of ship, although I prefer the ships of another race.

I will pay a lot of ISK (in-game currency) in return for aforementioned contract fulfillment.

See? Piece of piss.

Tsara was my other character that could go into high security space (MaliA couldn't due to repeated murders and assaults) and she bought things for malia and took them to where he was. However, as you can only train one skill at a time, and you need skills to fly ships, MaliA can fly more things than Tsara, and the things maliA likes the bestest, Tsara can't fly, so maliA has to pay people to move them for him. Or stick them into a hauling ship which can be vulnerable to attack in low sec.
Mostly for Comical, but these are so pretty.

Click them, if I post the entire images, I'll get shot for bandwidth and size.

EvE Ships (Smaller ships) (2.9MB)

EvE Ships (Bigger ships) (3.5MB)

All the ships, with an Eiffel Tower for scale (798KB)
My ship is a very very small ship.

I can't even find mine.
Check behind the fridge.

Perhaps it's just cold.
StateCorp[NGJ] are offering friendship and hugs to [BEEX], and I've been asked to mention that we have a relatively safe 0.0 base if anyone wants to come out and do some PVP.
I've set standings slightly higher than average. I've not set it to 10 as I don't know anyone actually in it apart from you. This may change =D

You probably do, but you don't know you do. :ninja:
I was actually asked if I wanted to invite everyone in BEEX into StateCorp, but I said you guys want to have your own identity. If we get our alliance up again, you'll certainly be invited. In the meantime, you can still wave hello in the "statecorp" channel. I've known the core of NGJ since I started EVE in 2004. I think as people they're a good fit with BEEXers and they're 100% trustworthy.
Does StateCorp operate NBSI? (Not blue, shoot it - it's a way of piracy that carebears can deal with, blue being the colour that people appear if they are 'liked' by you)
Almost every alliance we've been in has had that policy, but I am not sure if we're NBSI or NRDS right now. I only got back into 0.0 yesterday. Even with NRDS, having blues set is kind of required to clear friendlies off overview to avoid any diplomatic incidents during big fights.

I've dug out some stuff written by NGJ peeps for the alwaysblack.com website:

My favourite little story - Day of the Machariel

The rest of the EVE Diary by Jamie are here.

And here are the EVE Inteceptor articles by RoBurky. Also Behind Enemy Lines

#more-76" class="postlink">The Lag! by Peter Day, also The Battle of Nikkishina

Good stories there, that serve to remind me that I haven't got a clue what I'm doing.

And to think you slagged me off when you had the barest rudiments of a suspicion that I was maybe considering thinking about playing WoW!

But seriously, folks, I'd love to play EvE, only I don't have a computer that'll run it, nor the time to devote to an MMORPG.
It doesn't require a vast amount of power actually, my laptop runs it perfectly well. :)
My PC laptop is a P4-M 1.7Ghz, with a Geforce 4 440 64Mb video card and 512Mb of RAM.

I almost certainly won't run it without having to lower the settings to make it look like the original Elite.
I'm actually very glad that I am both broke and utterly without enough time to do this, or I would be reeled in like a little tiddler by a master angler.
*pays for Curio's sub*
OK, I've done the tutorial so I can fly my ship about and whatnot. I've found Kakaela in the star map but the autopilot route is going to take me through half a dozen systems with sec rating 0.2-0.3. How do I make it choose a more n00b-friendly route?
F10 for the map, choose the 'autopilot' tab, click on 'prefer safer'.
What's your character name?
Grim... wrote:

Found the autopilot safer option. I'm heading to Kakaela now.

Char name is "Doctor Glyndwr".
Wheee! Me, CG, Sheepeh, and Craster went and asploded a pirate base. We asploded it good. Craster bombed the base itself, as my peashooter gun was ineffective, whilst CG took out some outlying pirates, I did little of use, and Sheepeh in his gunless superwagon zoomed around harvest Stuff from the pirate wrecks. It was a rich, full day! And more teamwork in that five minutes than any given week of funsquare CoD4.

If my plans come together, there'll be more of that tomorrow, and I'll have Eggwan with me.
I can't believe Craster gifted you 5 million. Grim... gave me 1m when I started and I thought that was generous. I'm right green now, me. :)
The Phoon is down, I repeat the Phoon is down.

Grim... does a great Comical impression.

Grim... got hisself blowed up?

Haha - no insurance, either.
I am currently doing insane trading runs with one of my alts. I'm expecting to come back in a Tempest within two days.

I. Am. Not. A. Happy. Bunny.
I am confused and need clarification.
Big battleship went bang because of insane agent mission. Grim... not happy.
Christ it must have been insane indeed, what's the loss in terms of ISK?

Your laptop would run that OK.
~60. I don't think Craster gave Gaywood 5mill, he gave me 5mill. And I'll pay him back in an hour or so.

Oh, errr, ok. I'll be less jealous now.

I'm hoping to earn a few hundred k with Sheepeh in a bit on yea olde salvage missions. I've also calculated via Evemon that to learn all of the learning skills to Level 5 will take me until the 13th November. :)
