I ain't got a star here! I HATE POD NOW!
He means the favicon, it seems ;)
Haha, that diagram is fucking excellent.
Yay for stars! One browser cache clear later and Shazam! a star!

Woooo!
I really like the star! Whoever thought of it as a favicon should get a golden one! It's a very happy star.

Hehe, it is. You can see the joy and wild abandon with which it was drawn.
I like that fact that the star is at a jaunty angle. One even might say "rakish".
Ah yes, clearing cache has revealed the galaxy.

Hopefully the star has enriched your life and you are no longer a grumpy, sad person. Hopefully the star shall inject some joy into your soulless life, you will renounce brooooootal metal and you will listen to Earth, Wind & Fire all day, everyday. Esepcially the song "Star".
Here's where the galaxy is:

I tried to use the word 'rakish' at work to describe the angle of a hat I was wearing. Because I'd once read something about someone wearing a hat at a 'rakish' angle and the description caught my imagination.

Anyway, my work colleagues all gave me a funny look because apparently the word 'rakish' is not a 21st-century-compatible word.

Pfff.

Maybe I should have described the hat in lolspeak.
I like how the big scrawled smiley is sideways :)

It is quite regrettable that hats themselves seem to have fallen out of favour, not just the lexicon with which their wearage is described.

By "hats" I mean proper hats, of course, not these silly "beanies" and "baseball caps" that so many of today's youngsters are choosing to cover their heads with.

Behold a jauntily behatted gent-about-town:

Control yourselves, ladies.
The FAVICON was at MarkGs request, I chose the star 'cos well everyone seemed to have a star fetish yesterday. Now if only Grim... would replace the header with the animated one. Prepare to cream your jeans.

Nice hat btw Mr Chis, gives you an urban flava.

Damn it, now I can't remember whether I used the word 'rakish' or 'jaunty' to describe the angle of my hat.

This is when I was going through my 'I will bring Buster Keaton back into fashion' phase. I think 'rakish' is when it's tipped forward and 'jaunty' is when it's tipped backward. What do you call a hat when it's tipped perfectly sideways?
Sadly, I think the real answer is "twattish." :(

Zombie Buster Keaton will be a-nibblin on yer brain before the day is out! You have been warned.
Of course, given the impending events of this summer, we should all be wearing these

EDIT - Thomas, Mr Keaton appears to have suddenly aged in the last 2 minutes.

I's been trying to find just the right picture. Now he is also suffering from necrosis.

Also, my name is 'David'. For reasons I won't go into now.
Oh, my apologies. I'd always read it as "Thomas Davi", but now notice it is in fact "thomsedavi" in any event, so I was absolutely nowhere, there.

I shall call you thumbelina, though.

They're introducing crocodiles into the waterways of Britain?

I also always read it as thomasdavi up until a couple of weeks ago when I finally clicked.

I do sincerely hope you're joking, Mimi. Otherwise I shall be most disappointed.

'Thomsen' is my last name and 'David' is my first. I make no secret of that so that when people behind me of hiding my real name on the internet, I can say 'ha ha ner ner'.

The university sign-in name for the computers was generated by taking the first six letters of your last name and the first four of your first.

And now you all know the secret origins of 'thomsedavi'.
No  I don't know what you are talking about. Sorry.

All can think of is the Olympics, in which case I can't see the link.
I was hoping for a bit more involvement from the Illuminati, to be honest, Thumbellina. Y'know, raising you as one of their own and giving you a super-secret name of power.

But no. Instead we get your university log-in.

Only the GREATEST THING EVER, that's what.

I shall be getting some of this, in anticipation:

I went through a series of 'internet names' early on in my internet career before getting bored of thinking of a new one every ten minutes (I'm a kiwi and I like transformers, so I can be KIWIFORMER! No, I'm a tall white guy, so I can be TALLWHITEGUY! etc) so chose one that was arbitrarily assigned to me and which didn't apply to anyone else in the universe.
Are you taller than me?

I'm six foot three, but you're all bones so you probably look taller than you are.

I only "figured out" this name WASN'T Thomas Davi but tomsedavi about a week ago as well! Power of the human mind, eh?

Looking very Bjorkish there Mimi (that's a good thing btw)

Malc
How often do you wear that hat, Mimi?
Would you ever wear it to a job interview?
I am wearing it now, Pod.

I have (in hat form):

A squirrel
Two monkeys
A deer
A gorilla
A bear
A polar bear
A duck
A rabbit
A Babbit (half bat, half rabbit)
A lion
Two cats
An apple

(probably more, but those I can remember off of the top of my head.) Would I wear it to a job interview? Really does depend on the interview, I guess. I'd like a squid hat - with tentacles hanging down around my head like dreadlocks with a cheery squid on top.

We're going to see Bjork soon, Malc ^_^
See
My
Vest
See my vest
Made from real gorilla chest.
Haha - I've been trying to work out where that was from! Thank goodness - it would have been going around and around in my brain, always a millisecond away from understanding what it was if you didn't just say!

I know a guy called Steve Riley. The company he works for generates their email addresses using the first three of your first name and the first four of your last name. This landed him with sterile@...

Oh, I was getting mixed up with Crocodile Dundee.

Aww Mimi, you have a very pretty eye. Obviously I can't vouch for the other one, and for all I know it could look like this:

Image
Hehe, no :P It's pretty much the same as that one, but the other way around, if you know what I mean (I don't want you thinking I have two right eyes, that would just be weird.)

The pokey tongue smiley isn't very good at poking out his tongue, is he?

I looked elsewhere, but was distracted by this: Image
At Lancaster Uni, they take the first eight letters of your surname (or more if you had a hyphen in there) for your uni login and email. Mrs. Grim...'s maiden namewas Black-Hawkins. Awesome.
