Tomorrow's World

It was good, wasn't it. I remember watching it as a kid.

Apparently my uncle was once on Tomorrow's World, demonstrating some crazy bit of junk he had invented. I've never had this fully confirmed though, so I will investigate further.
I can't wait to see what Uncle Squirt invented.
According to my mum, a sort of roboty thing that could avoid obstacles using light detectors. It didn't work very well because of the studio lights. I am making further inquiries.
Was it also a vacuum, because if so I think your family is owed some money.
I recall many of the studio demonstrations not quite going to plan but I don't know if that's a bit of a faulty memory coming more from jokes, or maybe clip shows rehashing the same clips.

Overall though I enjoyed this show, it was good, plus I also had a little bit of a crush on Phillipa Forrester.
When I was younger, "Tomorrow's World presenter" was my dream job. I even drew a picture about what it would be like at primary school.

With hindsight, an even less plausible career direction than my youthful desire to become Prime Minister (which should be happening in, according to my watch and teenage calculations, three years' time).
I'd vote for you Kern.
I'm only voting for sexy kern
