Perhaps we could arrange a Beex walk or something? I don't live too far away either.
I would totally be up for this! :D
Me too. MsKov loves a good walk. :P
Gaz is less keen on walking but I'm always up for it :DD

I'd love a proper BeeX walk once things reopen.
Nottingham is pretty central for everyone, I agree

I'm pretty sure I can no longer walk that far.

2. I have ordered a new coffee table meaning I'll finally be motivated to remove the crap from the old one.
3. I'm pleased with how well my draw-the-art round worked last night and everyone's clear enjoyment of it.
4. I just looked out of my window and saw six birds on my two feeders, and four more nibbling up the ground seed.
5. Day off, so got up later than normal, cooked cheeseburgers for breakfast, cleared and dismantled the old coffee table, and built a new one.
6. Marked the space I wanted to develop in my garden out with weed fabric, developed a plan for it, and ordered the planter kit I need.
7.Sitting in my garden, reading a book, and drinking beer. Sure, my fleece might be zipped up to my chin and my knuckles are turning an interesting shade of purple but the sun's out, some of my crocuses are blooming, and Spring is in the air.
8. Cooked a tasty curry and was a bit more adventurous with it than normal, even preparing a marinade in the morning ahead of time.
9. Quiz! Cheered me up no end.
10. Gave an excellent presentation at work
11. Train ride!
12. Drank beer and read.
13. Thrilling rugby!

14. Finished a book
15. Five pointer on 'Only Connect'
Lovely video call with the Joans family with talk of getting together in summer. :luv:

If you have problems it’ll be about 3am when you wake up feeling like death.

Friend of mine who had same jab at same time today said he started feeling shivery at 7pm. I hope I’ve dodged the bullet...
I had hardly anything at all but I had the Pfizer rather than the Brexit jab.

Hopefully you’ll wake up at a normal time feeling fine tomorrow. If not, hi! Have some paracetamol and go back to bed

Got a bit behind on all this, but come this far so I have to see it through.
Ma has just had her oncology results and has been cleared of what was suspected cancer. I’ve not kept up with this as we’ve had a few difficult days, but hopefully this makes up for them.
That's great news Mimi! :luv:
Happy to hear that Mimi!

I feel very sluggish today... eek!
That's excellent news Mimi. :)

Friday - playing D&D oneshot - I really did enjoy it.
Saturday - getting to sprall about on the floor while cutting fabric for some patterns with a film on in the background (college scandal).
Sunday - getting most of the painting done for the new kitchen, and sorting out a load of stuff in my office. It's getting there now.
That is awesome news Mimi..

It was MiniKovs birthday. On Saturday, se we watched the rugby, and had nerf battles, cake and pizza.

Today - Work have countered the job offer and added £5k. It means I am getting a 46% payrise.

I think I need to buy some new stuff, to celebrate. New TV, or a Switch, or a PS5 or a new garmin.

Holy crap Kovacs - that's amazing news!

Well done you!. :attitude:
I am quite stunned... from an IVA in 2020, to being on a good salary in 2021.
Bloody hell, Kov! That’s great.

I might have stopped grinning by the quiz tomorrow..
If not, I'm sure you'll stop grinning just as soon as the quiz starts.

Seriously though, good work!
Amazing Kov, I'm delighted for you!
Howdy,

Now I am getting a huge payrise. i Am going to look at doing the house up.

Where is the best place to spend money? This is not going to be my forever home, more to do up and sell.

I have put in a new boiler
New external doors
The garden is being looked at.

It needs a new bathroom and double glazing.. which is on my list
Well done Kovacs, that’s great. Clearing your debt was a massive achievement and having this to top it off must feel amazing. x

Great news, well done.

If you've got too much moolah ATM you could buy me a car, as I think mine is finally not economically worth getting through its forthcoming MOT. I'm pretty sure the EMU is kaput as it sounds awful and it kangaroos along with the alarming message "ENGINE SYSYEM FAULT" so it's not driveable any more. Add to that the little noise that's been emanating from the front suspension for a while, a bit like barking puppy, and I'm ready to throw in the towel and can justify replacing it, so all of these troubles are NOT a bad thing.
Monday, more Joan's family fun
Tuesday- it has to be the quiz! :D
Wednesday - got some lovely jungle fabric to make my friends baby an outfit for his first birthday in May, he's hopefully going to the zoo. :)
Having made the decision about my job. I had the best night sleep in a week.

Now... Are you really sure? Can you delay the decision till after Tuesday just in case we can change your mind again?
