Only if you don't put peanut butter under that Marmite
There's one with strawberry jam but the others don't let it join in with their crumpet games.

Surely marmite goes before peanut butter, otherwise how to you get tour marmot too spread on top of the peanut butter? Unless you use smooth peanut butter?! You don’t use SMOOTH peanut butter, do you?

Also, Marmite is absolutely valid by itself. Peanut butter + marmite is a party day, though.

Chilli marmite is great, too.
HAPPY JOANS DAY!
Todays weather is just grim...

Feels like has been raining forever, not helping with my meh mood.

You can't have been paying much attention on Saturday night then, because it was played at the jogger's disco :DD

No, I must have zoned out, or had I left by then?

It was shortly after you arrived, they were playing it for the second time. :S

How have you avoided it? It’s been playing since October!

Because you only start playing the game December 1st.

[edit] And now I've lost The Game

I must have tuned it out... dammit
There's something odd about this ......

One of the directors was a gas fitter and another was a personal trainer.

Even the postcode is a bit suspect.

How are the pastries there?
I don't know. They say that anyone who went to check them out was never seen again.
I've just put on a "New Christmas music 2021" playlist and it's all just American singers singing the same old shite with slightly different amount of sleigh bells and fucking autotune.
When was the last Christmas “classic” song released?
Is there anything after Mariah Carey that gets repeated every year?

Don't let the bells end by the darkness?
Nah, "Santa Tell Me" by Ariana Grande.
She's done one with Stephen Colbert and Megan Thee Stallion this year. It's not great.

I’m really enjoying the Elton & Ed Sheeren one. The video is fun, and it’s tuneful, and sweet, and funny. I think it’s a permanent add to our list.

The only other modern one we have is one Russell likes by Kelly Clarkson called Underneath The Tree

I can’t stand that song. If it was just a Christmas song it’d bounce along just fine, but because it’s full of 40 year old men making dick and arse jokes it’s just cringey.
MaliA flew too close to the Xmas market and is out of Whamageddon
Got pissed on German lager though so swings and roundabouts.

I'm very fond of Coldplay's Christmas Lights. Mainly because it has a very strong emotional connection for me. Personal choice, of corse
I think I have just eaten the "most expired" thing I have ever knowingly eaten.

Went to have a bowl of weetabix, and discovered we were out of sugar.

I found an old tub in the back of one our cupboards, that had the left over ingredients for some baking project or other. In it there was a partially used box of muscovado sugar with a best before date of April 2014.

so I sprinkled a load on my weetabix and gobbled it up.

Now, I am not usually that cavalier with gone off food, but I am not super strict on dates, employing common sense, but erring on the side of caution (we have a really good fridge, and most dates are designed to keep people with crappy fridges safe), but I figured sugar is used as a preservative, this looked fine, wasn't congealed or anything and I couldn't see any mites or anything (although I guess some are too tiny to see). If I am sick later, I'll know what's caused it!

Yes! This one. Plus the Ariana Grande one and the Leona Lewis one.

I wouldn't have even thought to check the date for sugar tbh
Maybe it was so old that Malc thought he noticed a few typographical changes
Tate and Lyle going for the incel market

If it's dry it's fine. We've opened home made jam from 2004 and not been killed, and the sugar is part of that (ok, the largely hermetic sterile environment is probably a larger part).

Hell I've opened home made hot sauce from 2014 more than once, and will do again!

Happy Birthday CUS, wherever you are!
Probably here under a new name, somewhere. HBDCUS!
Have you tried looking on STAG?
ha. in searching for the actual STAG forum, I happened upon the Stadia forum, which is as thriving as you can imagine. And includes enthusiastic posters like this.

Brilliant :DD :DD
Good idea:
Paying slightly more to have an online order wrapped to save yourself the time and hassle.

Bad idea:
Over-zealous opening of the parcel with your penknife, slicing open the wrapping paper.

After yesterday's beersplosion and this today, I'm keen to hear what happens tomorrow. I'd be careful around doors and stairs, is all.
The Goat family don't seem too keen on their new helicopter..

This picture sums up my week so far. We've been doing some stop motion animation for Sylvanian Families which is taking forever but it's been really good fun so far... If only they'd stop falling over.
