He's picking it up tomorrow, in broad daylight, at Fleet train station. His PayPal address is verified, and so I'm just going to ask to see some ID before handing the box over, and explain my paranoia away by what happened. I think this guy's on the level. However, if I don't post here after tomorrow evening, it's because I'm floating face-down in Fleet Pond.

Good thinking, but let him know by email that you want ID, so he has it with him on the day.
So I'm still alive! The bloke (who showed me his driving licence, was in his late 40s, and asked me if I wanted him to sign something to say he'd collected the Mac) was extremely friendly, understood entirely about the problems I'd had, and was apparently after a G5 to... upgrade his G4. He's a bit suspicious of Intel Macs and wanted something for his photography work. Here's hoping the machine carries on being as reliable as it was for me, and that he doesn't turn out to be the greatest scammer ever, because this is currently looking like a pretty good transaction.

All's well, etc.
Craig, do you have any Marshal Law trades amongst your collection?

Top Shelf are releasing a Marshal Law omnibus next year. Will be nice to have everything together.

Mm. I'd have a tendency to wait for that, even if it'll be pricey and despite the fact Marshal Law is utter shite after Kingdom of the Blind.

I've definitely got some Marshal Law stuff to get rid of, but I can't remember what. It's mostly 2000 AD-related stuff, though, along with the odd DC/Marvel trade (Death's Head v1, some Alan Moore DC book, etc.).
