BeeX Virtual Meet & Quiz

So everyone’s happy with the day and time? If so I’ll book something in for tomorrow evening.

At the moment yes, but I just wanted to say, when we meet on a Tuesday, the first 30(ish) minutes is usually just chat (19:45 - 20:10) before we start the quiz. There's no reason why you couldn't pop in for a while, then disappear when the quiz starts if you didn't want to join in that bit. That goes for anyone obviously. :)
Good to know, ta.
And sometimes Jazzy is wine drunk before we even start!

Occasionally, Jazzy is not wine drunk before ee start.
I think Jazzy has the right idea tbh :DD
Well that's all true. :P

Party's over for a while now though, I'm needed back in work a few days a week and I don't drink on a school night. Soon be Christmas though. :D

We considered joining this week but Sal is more often than not too tired and I don’t have it in me to do two quizzes a week (we do one with my parents on a Thursday). Plus the ones we did finished too late.

I would like to see some of your faces though. Is there any appetite for an additional shorter, non-quiz-based call on, say, a Friday at 7pm (as an example time)? Like an hour max but just for chit-chat.

I'm looking forward to this with no cottage this weekend, it's the next best physically distant thing we can do. I really hope people drop in, even if it's only for 10 mins to say hi. :luv:
I've set it up for 7pm tonight. Meeting details are in Kern's thread.
We'll be there but might be a few minutes late as only just dishing up food.
Thanks for suggesting that Myp - was a nice and chilled Friday lounge. Just what I needed!
Great to see you all and chat nonsense for an hour. :)
Details posted for tonight's Tuesday fun.

Got my round ready to go. :D
I have 90% of a round...

I also have the bones a wikipedia entry round

And I have 80% of a whole quiz.
I have written an experimental Wikiround too. All to be revealed later.
I have a round and a half... I might have two rounds by 8pm! Fingers crossed.
I have a round. And a new webcam, so sound and vision should be better than before. I assume they were pretty bad, given my laptops are 7 years old.
Thank you, had a good time. I will do a round next week.

Oh boy. That's a lot of films I have to catch up on over the week.
Many laughs were had! Thanks everyone, and thanks for surviving the trek through Wikiland.

For those stuck on mile 92 on the Alaska Highway, Inga Lake, has "outhouses, large camping spots...quad and dirt bike trails". But be careful, "it is not the easiest spot to find, as only a small green sign indicates its whereabouts".

All you need to no about it Mother-fuckin' Timblo Class Patrol Craft!

King Abgar and early fandom.

And finally, for play-at-home-fun, try devising your own questions for Albu Nasir and Rathipally.

Sorry I missed it last night. Wasn't really feeling chatty.
Inexcusable DavPaz.

( :luv: hope you're OK)

If you’re up to it, feel free to join us on Friday for an hour of regimented nonsense!
Sorry, you’ve probably already guessed but this isn’t happening tonight. Time has run away with me today (currently clearing the spare room to make it into a sewing room). Plus Kern wasn’t available and I hadn’t come up with a useful alternative. Sorry!

Let’s try again next week.
I have a zoom account we can use in future. I can set a recurring meeting up.

PM sent with the details.

Set up for next 7 weeks
I have done a round.
I won't be on as I'm on holiday but do try and have a nice time without me.
Details available if you go looking for them.

We're back at TKD tonight so may be a few minutes late again.
I have done a round - similar to last week's but slightly less harsh on the scoring. :DD

I have 2 rounds on offer if needed.
I have lovely pictures.
I can confirm my presence will be present
4th!!!!!!!!! I shall now retire.
My brain hurts. As Warhead rises, I sink. Next week, perhaps I will be revenged. I am off to listen to all of the songs.

Bold strategy, Cotton.
‘Is that a wig?’ :)
That was fab. Thanks
I gave the lyrics quiz to my eldest son and also my wife, they got 7 points.
Good fun, as always. Sorry we dashed off, Tuesdays are a bit knackering at the mo!

See you on Friday.
Come talk nonsense for an hour tonight at 7pm! Details in members’ forum.
