This round was my downfall. It's possible that I initially was thinking only of countries in the EEC, which is not the same as Europe at all. Eejit!

To be honest, I would have probably got about 20 without Gaz :S
Tonight's details are up. It's the quiz Boris Johnson definitely won't be at. See you all from 8!

Olly's is providing a round for me tonight. This could be good or bad news, depending on how much you enjoyed his previous rounds :DD
I may not be on tonight again... I may be working.

It's a good one though, I've got a job with another videographer and we've got to make a load of stop motion animations for Sylvanian Families so I may be locked in a dark studio until Christmas.
Oh, that sounds fun. Will We be able to see the results somewhere? Maybe you’ll turn into the next Aardman productions
Hopefully I'll be able to share them... Not yet though as we're filming some super secret new lines of Sylvanian Family!

I can't say much but think Malibu Stacey and her new hat....
New lines? Ooh, that is exciting*. Will these be for adverts or Youtube promo type things?

*I mean, I assume so. I don’t know anything about Sylvanian Families or Malibu Stacey (which I had to Google. My knowledge of Simpsons lore is below par).
I believe they're going to be used at various trade shows over Europe for the next year or so.

Hopefully they'll like what we do!
I’m sure they will. I love stop motion. It just feels okie it’s made with so much love. I was so happy when they made the new Clangers series stop motion. And I still adore things like the old Cosgrove Hall Wind In The Willows. I bought it again on DVD recently.

Darwin has made a few stop motion animations using an iPad app if you’re hiring? :D
Sounds good.. is it like this?
We might be a bit late.

How awesome! It makes my day even more relevant to your interests. The centre of Groningen has a large building with library, tourist info and exhibitions. I got the combined ticket today, which gave me hours playing games in the Game. On! exhibition (Space War up to VR), and then on to Storyworld, which is all about making comics, games and animation, with a section dedicated to stop motion animation, and some Aardman exhibits.
Thinking of doing a big old quiz of the year. Wondering if people would be up for it? I would do all the rounds for the night.

Thinking 28th to do it, if people are interested? Or would 4th of Jan be better?

Sounds great, even if this year has only been three months long.

Either date is fine for me - I suppose it's a question of how Christmassed out people are on the Bank Holiday Tuesday.
A whole quiz of Malc rounds!

That should come with a health warning
The 4th Jan would be better for us as we have Chloe the week before. But we'll still be around, so definitely go with the majority. :)
I think either date works for us :)

This sounds absolutely excellent, for sure. No idea where I'll be on either date - slightly more likely I'll be back in the UK on the 4th, but who knows? So either date for me.

He actually remembered to do it this week so I have it ready for tomorrow, and a contribution from Izz too!
Tonight's details are up!

See you all from 8 for our Christmassy Quiz. I have a festive round in the works!

If you want to know why Kern and I both went for Ethiopia rather and Ghana in Ollie's Flag round, then this might give you a clue?

Totally different! Colours in the wrong order, and what's that weird blue thing?

I totally understand, I guessed Ethopia first as well, lol
It was a very good round. Some tricky designs in there. I'm pleased my guess of Malta paid off.

Great fun last night, thanks everyone.
On from 8 tonight if anyone's around and in need of a post-Christmas pre-New Year online break!

Details in the special place.

I'll be there! I got tonnes of quiz stuff for Christmas, as such I will be using some of that as source material for my round(s). I'll do my quiz of the year round next week if that's still okay?
We've got Chloe tonight, so will give it a miss.
Looking forward to the quiz of the year next week.
I won!

More info about how Handel and Hendrix were neighbours!
Also, a Classic FM list of 10 English composers.

Definitely check out Tallis, gorgeous stuff.

Reading that list, I never knew Delius was from Bradford.
Happy New Year!

Tonight's details are up. See you all from 8.

Ooh, it's Malc's quiz of the year tonight!

I shall try to still be awake (struggling with the alarm this morning).
Tonight's details are up!

Be there, and then hold an investigation two years later to find out if you were.

I'll be there, but my brain is all addled from the pain/painkillers. I really struggled to work out that 6 hot dog rolls was not enough for 8 hotdogs, and how many would be left after giving 1 to Pauline, 1 to Raven, 1 to Owen and 2 to Seb. I just couldn't work out it last night, so god knows what I will be like in a quiz.

I do have a (just 1 at the moment, with 1 under construction) round though.
Oh no Malc, I hope you get sorted quickly.
Sounds nasty. Get well soon Malc!
Get well soon Malc
Hope you feel better ASAP Malc :luv:

I have a round and it comes with a choice - wooo, exciting!
anyone else getting adverts for remarkable after Kov was singing it's praises yesterday?

I've been getting them for months
Sorry I missed you all last night... I was up stupidly early this morning so I had to get an early night.
This week, I have part 2 of my quiz round from last week (someone remind me to fact check the years!) however, I have bought a party game pack, which has some interesting games in it (I bought it for the murder quiz round, but a couple of other rounds might work too)

Would people be interested in trying a round or so of this?
I certainly would be. ;)
For sure! Can you let us know if we're better off on a particular device? (e.g. whether there's typing or just jabbing/clicking at the screen)

They are designed to be played with a handheld device, but they just need a web browser, so whatever is easiest I guess.
Tonight's details are up.

More fun and intellectually stimulating than an evening with Nadine Dorries, guaranteed.

Just me tonight (COVID symptoms permitting!) as Jem is on a jolly down sarf!
