The 5-0 were driving their land rover over the phone Bach this afternoon, and then checking out the dogging car park. Also, the Community Patrol were driving down the path.

All very exciting.

I was pondering the impact of the pandemic on the dogging scene. I wonder what they're doing instead.

Isn't Pornhub free at the moment?

True. Perhaps dressing one's laptop with magic tree air fresheners will add to the desired ambience.

:DD
Good to see the police behaving reasonably.

Who could’ve imagined such an upstanding and reputable institution like the police abusing new powers.

Who could have imagined such a well organised institution like central government not providing clarity on the intent and impact of hastily implemented legislation, leaving the Police forces and individuals to interpret what’s required.
Meanwhile, in Hungary Orban's been given his enabling act:

BBC wrote:
The Hungarian Parliament has voted by 137 to 53 to accept the government's request for the power to rule by decree during the coronavirus emergency.

The law contains no time limit

Never waste a crisis, and all that.

And always erring on the side of authoritarianism they do, for reasons.

The tweet itself refutes this:

'“Non-essential” is not a term in the Regulations. Regulation 6 allows us to obtain “basic necessities”, which specifically “includes food”. Types of food are not prescribed or proscribed. Schedule 2 allows “food retailers” to remain open. Again, types of food are not specified.'

The legislation is clear about this, and the police are overreaching.

And they shouldn't complain if they don't get any eggs at Easter.
To be easter eggs should be banned anyway. One of the cruellest foods that exist.
My 75p Rolo easter egg actually had the rolos loose inside the egg, I was astonished.
I've been in bed with an illness today... It feels a lot like vertigo so hopefully it's just that.

I think I’m starting to get used to the new way of living. I’m sure the novelty will wear off in a few more weeks but this doesn’t seem too bad for now.

I was saying to a friend today I’m very glad I don’t have children at the current time. I have sympathy with you parents (who don’t put their shit in other people’s bins).

We have a 20 year old who’s been furloughed, but he’s mostly in his room anyway.

Ha! You can’t eat morals.
Just had an outside wee. Three thoughts:

It's eerily quiet out

Rinse off the kids' model fairy garden

Overwhelming urge to shout "Bollocks" as loudly as I could

My oldest is toilet training right now which is fun when you're not allowed out of the house.
Just went to the local Aldi. Stopping folks going in big numbers, seemed quite well stocked. Still no liquid handsoap.

Bar soap is just as effective.

I think so
Looks like my sister and her boyfriend might have it. Both in their 50s
My ex has it and is not very well at all.
Sorry to hear that, hope they make a full recovery.

Aww, send love and hugs their way and yours. Xx
I left the house for the first time in 2 weeks today. Took a walk down to the shops (a Tesco metro) it felt like an early Sunday morning in terms of how busy the streets and roads were. Tesco was no quieter than usual, and had pretty much everything in (no potatoes, but then it often has a lack of one thing you might want in). The only difference was that the hole shop was broken down into 2M sections and you weren't supposed to enter a zone if someone else was in there. Didn't stop one customer coming into my zone when I was getting some pepsi max,. But other than that everyone else respected the distance.
The wonderful Mitch Benn has written the anthem we need:

Got the BBQ going. Taking the small wins.
Old childhood friend of mine has had it. He wrote -

So I’m one of the lucky ones.
I’ve just spent 10 nights in St Helier, where the care I received was phenomenal.
I had what I thought was flu for a week which got worse and worse until I couldn’t breathe properly. I was taken by ambulance and needed oxygen and nebulisers for 9 days, bloods every day, x-rays, 3 different tablets and intravenous antibiotics, liquid paracetamol, Codeine, liquid potassium and god knows what else.
My lungs will take another 6 weeks to get back to where they were before I had COVID-19 and I won’t know if there’s long term damage from the pneumonia for another 6 weeks.
But like I say, I was lucky and sadly other patients passed away on the ward.
THIS is the reason people need to stay at home.
This virus is brutal, it can kill you and it can kill someone you love. Don’t risk it.
Please stay home and stay safe

Remember Boris saying something about three weeks? I do. That was three weeks ago.
He said it’d be for three weeks initially and then reviewed at that time. Prepare for a review every three weeks for the next three months minimum.
If anything, given how many people are flouting the rules, I would imagine we're heading for stricter lockdown rather than back to normal... ?:|

Yep, looks like London if rife with flouts.
