Scratchy throat for a couple of days, but woke up this morning a bit feverish so did the test. Feeling bloody awful today
Fingers crossed it clears up with plenty of time before Christmas.

Looks like they sent my booster appointment letter to my old address, despite my updating the surgery and the NHS Covid website as to my new address. Tch. Took a while but got through and now have a confirmed date for my booster - the 19th of December! EXCITEMENT-SHE-WROTE! Now I just have to avoid the lurgy until then.

(Another) one of Darwin’s close school contacts has tested positive so he’s got to go for a PCR test. We won’t get the results before the end of term so SURPRISE he broke up yesterday, I guess. It’s a shame as it was the big Christmas party today, and he had all his costume ready, they had been making hats and stuff at school, Santa was arriving on a horse. He’s taken it really well, so I’m grateful for that but also super tired of it all.
Got pinged by the NHS Covid app this morning for the first time in about six months. Just done a PCR, and a LFT (negative). Waiting on PCR result tomorrow and postponing a quick job till the weekend.

I had a couple of paracetamol and 90mins nap. Little Miss Positive LFT meanwhile has spent the day painting, running about whilst shouting, and playing Mariokart having an absolute whale of a time, so I foresee some of her Xmas gifts getting donated. The cow.
I had no side effects with Pfizers 2 and 3 except tender injection site, and only the weird inner ear thing that nearly had me throwing myself into a hedge after the first, which doesn't appear in the literature so may have been coincidence.

I had Pfizer booster and no real ill effects until 48hrs later when I got a swollen lymph node in my armpit, was weird but not terribly painful.
After my second vaccination I had a numb left thigh for about 5 weeks. No side effects from the booster.

I was trying for a straight but will settle with three of a kind.
I had Pfizer, Pfizer, Covid, Pfizer
I had AZ, AZ, Pfizer and had no side effects except a slightly sore spot where I was jabbed. And not forgetting that what I thought were side effects from the booster turned out to be the heart attack.
Got my booster booked for tomorrow lunchtime. I'll let you know what juice I get

I keep getting a sore throat but I think it’s stress. It’s not too painful, I’m just ‘aware’ of my throat in a way I wouldn’t usually be, and then it goes a couple of hours later, but it coincides with periods of stress, of which I am having many
