PayPal froze my account when I sent Vision £1 for a wrestling sweepstake a few years ago
PayPal are cunts, though.

(although, by some accounts, Monzo aren't much better)
BANG! In your moneybox!
Money sent! Thanks Jem.
I've edited the first post with attendees.
Ooh get you with your mod powers (Thanks  )

Also thanks for deposits guys :luv: Gaz reminded me this morning about the monzo me thing, so if its easier you can pay via https://monzo.me/jemturner/20
Now the New World Order is in, I look forward to the consigning of "Crooked Curio's Crooked Cwiz" (crowd chants "lock him up! Lock him up!") to the bin of history, the records being wiped, and a New Dawn of open, honest, tender questions.
I have paid for us two (although my bank didn't like that monzo.me thing)
Got it - ta. That's 11 12 deposits, woo!
I will ask Julie when she is back from holiday..
I'm a tentative in for this, I'm wrangling another nerd too...

Sorry I'm late
No probs, added you to my spreadsheet of doom :)
I am so excited...
I have a +1 (mate from uni) so sorted you now.
Gaagh. Bloody typical. My Cardiff buddies have reminded me that the big cottage we booked ages ago is on the very same weekend. They understand that I am committed to the Beex-Meet having waxed lyrical as to its virtues last year, and expressing my eagerness for the next. So still in and will pay the dues shortly. But damned vexing giving up one of the few little hols available this year.
The only solution is of course to bring all your cardiff buddies to cottage!

Thanks MaliA - got it.

We might need the little cottage too at this rate :D

I'm sure they'd be more than welcome and they sound a clever lot too so bagsy they're on my team for the quiz!

Lovely bunch! However with a dozen signed up for the other cottage... however, thrown an invite out there to a buddy who enjoys his boardgames. Probably a no but y'never know.
Ooh, got a possible on a buddy, an entertaining fellow called Potter. Fingers crossed.
Julie is up for it. She does start here new job that week, but should be ok.
Is there still space?
Yep yep! I have 14 deposits so far.
Okay, £20 paid, if I can't make it for some reason, use it buy malc some pants.
Hehe, ok - you're in the spreadsheet :luv:

No plans to.

I just tend to pay in full so I don't have to faff around later.

Fair enough. :)
deposit paid for myself and @col_MAN
Thanks!

OK, just to keep everyone in the loop, we're now up to 18 19 20 deposits paid. I've just spoken to the chap and the small cottage is not available so from a bed-count point of view, we have 0 left.

However, the chap also said that he wouldn't have any problems with someone erecting a tent on the lawn, so if it comes down to it there's that option. I guess there's always the option of sleeping on the sofa too?! How we'd divvy up the costs for that I don't know...

Here's the up to date list of names (who've paid deposits):

Jem
GazChap
Kris
Goddess Jasmine
Joans
KovacsC
Curiosity
Kern
Mr Dave
Rach
Grim…
Cras
Fentron
MaliA
krazywookie
krazywookie +1
MaliA +1
Bobbyaro
Zeppo
TheVision
Yoinked!

I've paid my deposit.
Updated my post. That's all beds gone now. Those who expressed interest but haven't paid will have to fight it out for lawn space :S
Guess that's me decided then
Come anyway. We can make the filthy non-Beexers sleep outside.

You can share with me if you like. Gaz won't mind. :hat:
I snoozed and I loozed

:(
Sorry guys! It was a delicate balance between getting a booking in ASAP so it was confirmed and not getting ahead of ourselves and booking both before interest was there, leaving those who were going with a large split of the bill :( (although tbf I didn't check at the outset so little cottage could have been booked the whole time for all I know)
There's always the option to stay nearby if hiding under the snooker table doesn't appeal.

Of course, with some first-timers on the list the other cottage might swiftly become available once we start doing "The Ritual" on Friday night.
Yo!

Option:
I have two single self inflating mattresses which can sit on camping bases (that I also have)which might be able to slide somewhere in a room.
If anyone wants to top and tail then I'd happily put my car keys in the bowl...

Oh, wait...
If memory serves:

Three doubles, two with a single in, and rest singles.
There is plenty of space if people want to sleep on camping beds? I have an inflatable double bed that I could bring?
Being an impoverished guttersnipe I'd be happy with a sofa or campbed and a crust of bread, guv'nor.
Bizarrely, the only condition the guy had on us having extra campers was that there were no children. Not sure why that was the case.

We also have a double inflatable mattress (assuming we didn't chuck it out when we cleared out the garage). If the mattresses haven't improved since last time, it's probably more comfortable than a bed too.

If people want to do camp beds etc I can take more deposits - brings the cost down for everyone. :)
Kewl, will fling brass your way shortly. :)

Me :)
Brass fired your way, Jem!

I'll let me friend know about the space issue. He hasn't committed either way yet but he does have a camper-van, so he should be fine in the car-park either way. :)
