My brother has just been to Waitrose and said the shelves were empty, but that might just be people unexpectedly spending Christmas at home and having to get a shop in?
Yeah lots of factors at play being this close to a locked down Christmas. Shops up here seem fine stock wise.
I grabbed a few extra tins, as per our chat last night.

Yeah, I picked up an extra CD32 and Amiga A1200 too.

That is going to be my go to saying... 'Where is ...?' 'In a loft in Bristol'
Powered up my A1200 and all seems fine, except I can’t see anything on the screen because the CRT TV we have didn’t come with a remote and you can’t tune in on RF without one.

Sod’s law means that I threw out most of our composite/SCART adapters just the other day on the basis that they were taking up too much space and we didn’t need them as all of our other consoles have their own proprietary cable.

Cheap composite cable off Amazon is now on the way to be delivered tomorrow.

I had a problem getting regular composite cables to work with one of my Amigas (can't remember which model, unfortunately) in that when used with either the modulator or plugged into the end socket, the image was always black and white. I never did figure out why, so I ended up buying a dedicated Amiga scart lead instead. Hopefully it was just an issue isolated to my particular Amiga though and you'll be fine.
I think the a500 only does mono composite
How did i not notice this was the stockpiling thread? I thought it was the meet thread, d’oh.
You're stockpiling...Amigas?

That could well have been my issue then. :)

Wait... are we not supposed to be doing that? Due to a lack of space, I've got two in the bedroom - not hooked up or anything.. just lying around.
Certainly, after 1st Jan the supply of new Amigas in the UK is going to be extremely limited. Stockpiling them is just common sense.
Luckily I know where there's a secret stash... Somewhere in Bristol!

I fear I may be stockpiling the wrong kinds of guns ahead of the food riots though.

Food bunker stocked back up.
I disapprove of that choice of beans.
I disapprove of the organisation of the beans

What is wrong with the beans?

I need to reorganise, as it is not a good system. Maybe in January.
In the Hungry Times after Brexit you'll be wishing you had that additional added sugar! Calories will be hard to come by.

Reduced sugar.

PRO TIP - Branston beans are where it's at.
Being diabetic.. kinda a good thing to reduce sugar. They still taste good. Beans and Ketchup, should always be Heinz. Brown sauce HP. Everything else is fine :)
Disagree. Branston beans are better than Heinz, I find. They do reduced sugar, too x
Aldi's Corale Baked Beans are the best.

Always had to have Heinz Ketchup until I saw a blind taste test on TV that put Asdas, smart price ketchup at the top, I scoffed, I tasted... I converted.
Heinz beans are watery and sweet. Corale are my faves too
I'm not showing you all my stash. The last thing I want is you lot rocking up on my doorstep after 'the event'.

Sugar thing makes sense.

Heinz thing does not make sense.

Branston make better beans.

Give their lower sugar offering a try.
It is personal taste. I like my Heinz beans.

I like how the bean juice soaks in the toast. :)
Enjoy ur beanz my dude, don't listen 2 the h8rs
I remember always looking covetingly at those Lock-On guns in the Argos catalogue. Were they any actually any good?
I got given a version (I think it was called photon) when I was little, but it didn't work so mum and dad took it back for a refund instead of a replacement, and so I never got to try laser tag toys at home.

My cousin and I had a Photon set. The full kit with the helmet and everything. It was great.

The beans would clearly all fit on the same shelf with a simple reorganisation, it's twisting my melon man.
Aren't you glad you posted this picture now Kov?
There’s a thread on Twitter of chaotic fridges that’d have you apoplectic.

Edit: here

More edit: why does everyone have so much food in their fridge? How does it all get eaten before it goes off?!

They could yes.. but that would involve time and effort. Plus I will use the over flow ones first :)

Unless some one wants to organise my pantry, it stays how it is :P

My fridge is normally full and it's a tall jobby. I eat 4-5 meals a day and have two very hungry children though...
The beans issue is a diversion from what's really important, i.e. what in the name of Beelzebub is THIS abomination?

Of the fridge.
The cleaner keeps hiding the tomato ketchup in the fridge. Crazy woman.
Even my son agrees.
