I’d take Outrun 2 over Outrun/Burnout. Such a beautiful, simple and rewarding game with even better music.

And it's easier to get to grips with.

I dunno, the drifting is not easy to master.

Really? On corners without sharp turn warning signs you don’t need to drift.
On ones with warning signs, when you are a second or two before the entry just do the briefest of taps on the brake then back on the gas as you turn in.
After that just steer left or right to avoid obstacles.

I explained that to someone at Arcade Club this weekend and on his very next go he was drifting with style.
Yeah, it’s dead easy (unless you’re a fanny, apparently) and once you start you feel like a boss.
Ok, I'm wrong because two people (which includes Sat btw) say so
Self awareness is under-rated, I'm proud of you.

Just Cause 2 (I didn’t play the subsequent ones so sub them in if better - included as it’s just a ridiculously fun romp)

Speaking of which, did anyone see this?

Imagine the unalloyed joy you'd feel stumbling on that. Ruined now, of course.
That works a lot better if you don't have your phone on mute.
