Well, I could definitely get a cheaper one, so it's a luxury. If things were shit I could cut it out and go back to cheapo supermarket stuff.
Netflix, Amazon Prime, Virgin Media is all for me, though the Virgin one is £110 per month, but then it includes broadband and (FFS) landline, so how much the TV Part costs I am not sure.

Looking through my bank account though, Christ I need to waste less money.
If you have the "all of them" TV package it's £26, I reckon. Also PS+.

Not if that includes sports.

No, it doesn't include any premium channels.

That’s an interesting definition of “all of them” then!
GazChap all of them.

Sounds like that problem will solve itself
£66.10 to Vigin media for cable TV with 2 Tivos, a land line and broadband.

£10 to o2 for mobile phone.
£33/mth Virgin media
~£30/yr PS plus
I’m stupidly paying £19.99 a quarter for PS+ at the moment because I never cancelled once Dave and Sat’s very kind birthday present expired. I need to switch to yearly or cancel it.

I pay £7.99 a month for Office 365 but not sure this is a luxury as I use it for work.

£2.30 a month for 1Password.

£5.30 a month for iRacing but I’m letting it lapse in December as I don’t have time to dedicate to it anymore. :(

£1.62 for Trading Paints Pro which is a painting application for iRacing—I’ll also be cancelling this next time.

Spotify Premium is included in my mobile phone subscription and Sal pays for Netflix and Gousto. I think that’s it.

£23.87 a month total currently, but I can get that down to £13.62.
You can pay for 1Password? Do I pay for 1Password?

It reminds me that I forgot to include LastPass in my figures, so that's about another £1.50 a month .
Grim... wrote:

I'm sure I don't pay for 1Password, but their website seems to suggest that there's no free version.

Hmm.

Jesus Christ dude, you're literally paying double what you need to!

Yep! Every time it comes out I say to myself, I must sort that out...

So I have it and had a free version that i got an upgrade from (from a bundle pack) to the 'full' version , that lapsed and when i login it complains that i cant share stuff but still works - you may be in a similar position.

I think some of it is still supposed to be free but if you were in before and had a paid version at some point it seems to work anyway.
I sold a car about 4 months ago and still haven't cancelled the insurance. My laziness knows no bounds.

You’re most likely on the legacy product, with syncs via Dropbox. This was discontinued a year or so ago. Now, the only option is to use their own cloud service. This comes with some extra features eg. works in some places Dropbox doesn’t, integrates HaveIBeenPwned, can share vaults with other people.

Oh; and the clients are all free now, as you pay the cloud fee instead. I didn’t have to pay to start using it on Windows 10, for example.
I pay for LastPass but I consider that an essential.

I only listed Photoshop because I have other software that can do the job in a pinch, it's just not as good.

Gaz pays for all the TV/Prime-y stuff, so would be interested to see his numbers :DD
Netflix (£8)
Patreon podcasts - ($8)
Zwift (£8)
Apple Cloud (£0.80)
Playstation Plus (£49 per year)

Just cancelled my BT TV as I was not watching stuff, that is not on the 5 main channels or Netflix.
I use the free versions of dropbox and onedrive, although I am hitting my one drive limit so thinking of going paid.

Would you get cash if they have an 'accident'?
That reminds me... I pay Chinny $1 a month.
Why haven't I set up a £2 a month Patreon? Many lulz.

Amazon Prime: £6.58 (£79 per year)
Netflix: £7.99
Plex Pass: £2.67 (£31.99 per year)
Taekwon-do: £49.95 (just for me, or £149.85 for the four of us if you want to count that)
GitHub: £5.42 (£65 per year)
Jem's Gym Membership: £35 (birthday present, stops at the end of the year :P)
Giffgaff: £10
iPhone: £37.95 (on the upgrade programme thingie)
I forgot about github. I think I could count that as essential.
£150 a month for Taekwon-do???

Jesus. What do you get for that?

It's £49.95 per person, although our school has given us a "buy one get one free" thing for the kids.

Two one-hour lessons per week. In practice this is more like three one-hour lessons because we often do 2 hours on the Saturday, which technically we shouldn't do but our instructor is relaxed enough about it that he doesn't seem to mind.

So works out at about £5 per hour, which I think is pretty good.
Jem wrote:

I suppose I shouldn't even really count it as my boss reimburses mine. In fact, I forgot Office 365 and phpStorm too, but she reimburses those so those don't really count either.

Not the face, but I do get smacked in the sternum and ribs quite often.
Cottage occasional Mat is doing his black belt grading in Bushido at the end of this month. It's going to take three hours, or something horrific.
Oh yeah, £2.99 for iCloud.

Yeah, the black belt gradings at TKD are similarly horrible. Our last grading (for blue belt) was a good hour and a half, and that was speeding through it.

Our instructor recently passed his 5th degree black belt grading and that was about 4/5 hours. His knuckles and heels were an interesting shade of blue when he taught us two days after on the Tuesday.

//edit: Also, pass on my best wishes to Cottage occasional Mat for the grading! ;)

Fuck's sake, they have to approve it. That's the end of that then :D
