Initiative Q
It's the future of payments?!?
Reply
... Apparently?

I've just signed up for this. I didn't use an important email address or anything just in case, but for putting in my name and email and possibly getting $8000? Well, what could possible go wrong? If you'd like to sign up, use my link below.

Think of it like a pyramid scheme without actually asking for any money... And possibly not getting anything at the end of it. I dunno? What's the worst that can happen?

Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this.

This link will stop working once I’m out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end.
I did it, I did it through Facebook.
And I have verified you! We shall have to meet up and smoke expensive cigars at the Cottage one year with all our winnings.
That sounds awfully decadent. I'm in.
There'll be a hot tub by then too! Brilliant.
It's everywhere this, they've done a very successful marketing campaign if nothing else. I don't get it though.
What is it actually supposed to do that other payment systems don't?
Make the founders richer

I have signed up via your link, you should have received some kind of notification about verifying my invitation. Or something. My identity is revealed, the mask slipped.
My brother sent me this. My bullshit meter has buried the needle.
It's the new bitcoin, except instead of just a few lucky people making lots of money everyone on Facebook is going to! And it's all free!
Pyramid schemes never seem to go out of fashion.
