Blueberries and chocolate? That combo would make me miserable, too.
Chocolate and blueberries, however, sounds scrum.

What's everyone up to on the long weekend, assuming you aren't at work of course?

I went up to the Lake. Probably the best weather I've ever had up there. I was camping at Ennerdale water. I'm very glad I filled my Camelbak with 3 litres of water and decided to take my standard bottle as a reserve. Did a great hike up Red Pike on Saturday - the view over Buttermere was fantastic. Probably didn't need to pack my fleece and coat, however - the first ascent up Great Borne to get to the ridge was steep and tiring as it was the first hillwalking this year, and I was carrying far more than I'd normally do so, esepcially given how steep it was. From there, we walked to Starling Dodd and then onto Red Pike.

Lazier day on Sunday with a stroll around Ennerdale followed by relaxed drink in a country pub. All very refreshing and relaxing.
Started on thursday with a day off on my own, then Friday on the beach with friends and then a lovely barbecue. Saturday was getting the house, garden and cars shipshape before heading to the in-laws for an evening out. Sunday in my brother-in-law's garden drinking lager and yesterday at the Ice Cream Farm rubbing shoulders with celebrities (and smashing the crazy golf course).

Lovely few days off.
I am such a child
I had my boy for the week, it was great. A bit of bonding, I am getting good at Fortnight apparently.

Saturday, did a 43 mile bike ride and 20 min run. The went to a party, was so bad left after an hour.

Sunday, an open water swim, still need more confidence, and a 9 mile slow run, it was so hot....

Then Sunday afternoon and evening spent sometime with the current Mrs Kov.

Monday was just a slow walk to, and round then back home from Shrewsbury, a nice 15 miles.

I am now in a rest errk, so quite relaxed training, before the next 5 weeks of hell :)
"The current Mrs Kov" sounds like you're saying she's Mrs Kov for now, but maybe not the future...
Yes, that's what he's saying. One can't predict the future, can one?

Of course not. But if I were to refer to Joans as my current boyfriend, it could imply that I'm not expecting it to last.
In the future, everyone will be the current MrsKov for 15 minutes.

Excellent way to keep him on his toes, though.

I read an article on the BBC this morning about more and more people doing two jobs now, so maybe the role of being MrsKov could be bundled together with 'current Brexit Minister'. So in the morning, carry out tense negotiations trying to leave a complicated relationship without too much pain and bitterness and then in the afternoon, head off to Brussels.
